NASRALLA to BARAK: BRING 9 DIVISIONS TO LEBANON NOT JUST 8 AND WE SHALL DESTROY THEM

‘We Must Arm Our Army, Even Through Black Market’
Mohamad Shmaysani

27/09/2008

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah on Friday told participants marking Al-Quds Day that Jerusalem and Palestine would soon be returned to their rightful owners. His eminence added that the very presence of Palestinian families within Jerusalem is a form of "resistance against the occupation."

The International Day of Al-Quds was first initiated by late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini after the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran. It has since been observed by Arabs and Muslims as a way of support for the Palestinians and emphasizing the importance of Quds to Muslims and Christians alike.

The event was attended by representatives of the Lebanese president and army commander, the parliament speaker, diplomats and other supporters. It was held in the Sayyed Al-Shuhada compound in Dahiyeh.

"Palestine, from the sea to the river, is the property of Arabs and Palestinians and no one has the right to give up even a single grain of earth or one stone, because every grain of the land is holy. The entire land must be returned to its rightful owners," Sayyed Nasrallah said.

His eminence added that the event is to revive the cause, not to cry on the ruins of a “Nakba or a Naksa” (Catastrophe of 1948 and Setback of 1967). “It is an event to mark in our minds, hearts and conscience and an emphasis on determination and will.”

I FEEL SHAME THAT PALESTINIANS ARE DYING OF HUNGER
Sayyed Nasrallah urged Arabs and Muslims to keep in mind that the occupation of Palestine and the sanctities of Muslims and Christians was carried out by a group of racists and to consider what happened then as the biggest insult to the nation during the 20th century.
He also blamed elements in the Arab world for not acting against Israel. "Unfortunately, there were those among the Arabs who took advantage of the conflict within the Palestinian people to wash their hands off the Palestinian issue. If the Arab nation does what is needed, the liberation of Jerusalem will be possible, maybe even soon."

"The Palestinian nation expects Arab nations to act in order to bring the blockade on the Gaza Strip to an end," said Sayyed Nasrallah. "However," he added, "only foreigners are sailing on the ships to Gaza. As a Lebanese Arab and Muslim I feel great shame that the Palestinians are dying of hunger," he added.

WAY TO RETURN PALESTINE IS THROUGH DETERMINATION OF RESISTANCE
The Hezbollah Secretary General went on to blame Britain and its allies at the beginning of last century for planting this entity in the region. His eminence said that it wrong to believe that Israel is ruling the world and influencing the United States. "Israel is a functional entity founded by Britain and its allies in the region for certain purpose. The succeeding US administrations inherited this. Israel is a functional entity that is carrying out its mission in the framework of the US-Western colonial project that aims at dominating our nation and its riches. Israel is the spearhead in this project… We do not deny the influence of the Zionist lobby in the world, but Israel does not control the US. When we understand this, we have to understand also that our holy lands will not be liberated through begging the Americans, the West, those who founded Israel and have been using it to divide our region in the framework of a new Middle East. The Lebanese foiled this project in the July 2006 war. The way to return the lands and liberate the Palestinian people is through the will and the determination of the resistance and sacrifices of the peoples of this region who can impose their will on Israel,” Sayyed Nasrallah stressed.

His eminence added that Israel was the enemy of all Arab and Islamic states. "Israel is not only the enemy of the Palestinian people, but also of Lebanon, all the Arab people and all the Muslim nations. Israel is a cancerous tumor, as Imam Khomeini said.”
"Today the time of the Zionists' dreams has passed and the time of our dreams has begun. Today we don't just dream, we implement our dreams. After the year 2000 and following the historic victory in southern Lebanon, the blessed al-Aqsa Intifada broke out. It was a historic golden opportunity to realize these hopes. Unfortunately, the entire Islamic nation did not stand by the Palestinians, who were forced to offer sacrifices."

TWO THIRDS OF ISRAELIS FEEL INSECURE
Addressing Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's resignation, the Hezbollah Chief said, "Olmert, although he naturally should have stepped down following the Winograd Commission report, remained in his seat thanks to vigorous US involvement.”

"The post-war Israel is facing a leadership crisis. One of the most important developments was that Olmert admitted that the Greater Israel dream has come to an end, after (Likud leader Benjamin) Netanyahu admitted that Zionism was dying in Israel’s new generations.

"Out of all these things, the public's lack of faith in this entity and its future is the most important. Polls released in Israel recently say two-thirds of the public believe they are living in an area where they feel insecure."

Sayyed Nasrallah went on to say that the Zionists had come to Palestine with promises of the land of honey, security and protection. “They were promised to become the dominant, tyrannical, hegemonic and despotic state in the region…But today, they feel insecure and they lost faith in their country. There is no visible horizon for a settlement with the Palestinians and what happened after Annapolis was worse that before it. The resistance in Lebanon and Palestine has passed the stage of existential threat. Syria and Iran got past isolation conspiracies and proved their essential roles in the region and the world. The US project was blocked in many countries in the region. What happened in the Caucasus (Georgia and Russia) constituted a defeat to the US-Israeli axis. The dangerous financial crisis in the US proves that the world is heading towards a multi-polar political, military and economic system…We see in these developments doors of hope opening to a future where the interests of the peoples of this region are fulfilled,” the Hezbollah S.G. emphasized.

BRING 9 DIVISIONS TO LEBANON NOT JUST 8 AND WE SHALL DESTROY THEM
Sayyed Nasrallah reiterated that backing the resistance was essential because "the resistance is the only way to liberate Palestine and lands occupied by Israel."
He warned Israel not to attack Lebanon. "I have always said that the way of the resistance is not a classic war. We are ready to help the resistance of the Palestinian people. But those who attack Lebanon – we shall face them.”

"(Defense Minister) Ehud Barak spoke in the past about five divisions which would invade Lebanon, and today he talks about eight. Okay, he may have made new calculations. But you should know that your eight divisions will be destroyed on our territory by our fighters. If you (Barak) ask me I would tell you to send nine divisions. Sending eight division is better than sending five. I understand that if Israel made this mistake, it will lead to its end. Imagine five destroyed divisions. Israel will no longer have an army there will be no state left. Then what would be the case if Israel sends eight divisions? The enemy and the friend know these things are promises from the Arab victory periods and are not taken from the times of past defeats,” the leader of the resistance firmly said.

WE MUST ARM LEBANON ARMY EVEN THROUGH BLACK MARKET
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that Lebanon should arm its army even "by obtaining arms from the black market as the resistance does."
"Following the reports in Lebanon that Israel objects to the US equipping the Lebanese army with a number of arm systems, can we maintain the sovereignty of Lebanon and its people this way? Must we really wait for permission from the US and Israel to equip our national army and give it all it needs to carry out its secret missions? This is unthinkable. As for the resistance, they (weapons) were angered by it because it did not need anyone's permission to arm itself, and thus this weapon is one of the reasons for power. If we wait for the United State's permission, we might receive trucks, weak armored personnel carriers, etc, but we will never get weapons which will allow us to face the Zionist enemy. A national force is not built through an external entity, but through national determination. We need the unity government to make a brave decision that we do not need anyone's permission and we will equip our army. We will establish a special cabinet of ministers, and in this framework the state will purchase weapons, even in the black market, as the resistance does.

WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT RECONCILIATION
He also said on Friday that Hezbollah is ready for whatever it takes to implement peace and stability in Beirut, but ruled out new alliances with the anti-Syrian majority. "We are ready to do whatever it takes to reassure all the Lebanese and especially the citizens of Beirut," his eminence stressed, adding "we are serious and devoted to the reconciliation."

“We are serious, real, and cautious in all reconciliations that aim to create a positive atmosphere. Details are not important. We are ready to comfort all Lebanese, especially in Beirut. Reconciliation does not mean new political alliances. We assure this and so do they. Their aim is to create a positive atmosphere and pave the way to the democratic 2009 parliamentary elections, which will be the deciding factor. We have always sought these elections. People will make their choices in these elections,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.

He added that if the opposition wins a majority in the 2009 elections, “Hezbollah will be committed to a national unity cabinet that makes others partners in the decision making process. We do not want to deny anyone a voice, we must learn from the past. Lebanon cannot be ruled on a majority/minority principle, this principle is not suitable to resolve issues.”

LET THE COUNTRY TAKE A CHANCE TO RELAX AND REVISE MATTERS
The Hezbollah chief spoke of national unity and easing down tension in Lebanon. “National force cannot be built from the outside; it can only come from national will. We have always said we were cautious in preserving peace and stability. We have always talked of national unity and demanded dialogue. Let the tense political language stop for a while. Let this country take a chance to relax, to rethink and revise matters. An electoral law will be adopted and elections will occur on time.”

NOT SUFFICIENT TO OPPOSE NATURALIZATION OF PALESTINIANS
Sayyed Nasrallah said that it is not sufficient to oppose naturalization of the Palestinians in Lebanon. “We had made a proposal to amend the constitution so that a decision to normalize Palestinians can only be adopted unanimously in parliament. It was refused. Today the other bloc has made the same proposal, this is very good. We support any amendment of the constitution that forbids naturalization, which is an American-Israeli project financed by the Arabs.
We must make every effort, at every level, to preserve the Palestinian’s right to return to their country. It is Lebanon’s responsibility is to improve the situation in the refugee camps. I hail the wise and correct Palestinian decision in Lebanon to remain neutral toward Lebanese divisions and disputes.

Bush like a rabbit caught in the headlights

Bush seems totally unaware that he , more than anyone else in the world, is responsible for the "credit crunch". I don't know if that's down to acting or stupidity. He's been spending and printing money like a maniac for the last 6 years, devaluing the US$ , causing a lack of confidence in the world for the US economy.

Now Bush is running around like a headless chicken and trying to give the impression that he's the only one who can solve the crises.

I've got news for him it's too late, the Chinese have suckered the USA and will very soon dump another trillion$ on the market. Welcome to the real world USA, soon you will have to pay your own way in the world instead of relying on foreign loans to finance your terrorism.

Sweating Bullets?

Stripped of the usual lies that have driven his Iraq policy from the start, President George W. Bush Tuesday went back to square one and played the big one – trying to tie the 9/11 terrorist attacks to his failed war.

all innocents are equal......but the bombers are not !!

A Bomb in Islamabad kills 56 innocent-souls.

A fortnight before , another bombing in Pakistan
has killed another 96 innocent-souls.

Can we assume that all innocents are equal ??
While assuming that all bombers are criminals ??

But let us not forget that there are Criminal-actions
and Criminal-reactions. .......

The reaction blames the action
while the innocents do die unaware whether the action killed them
or the consequent-reaction .

One fact is undeniable and relevant:
those who died in the Marriott Hotel were probably or presumably
richer than those 96 who died in the poor Tribal Areas of Pakistan.

While if there were any arms-dealers among those victims
one would logically find them in that 5 Stars Hotel and not
among the poor farmers in East-Pakistan- Provinces.
The same goes for the dealers in nuclear technologies ,
they love 5 stars Hotels...... .

In the eyes of God and of humanity ,
all living and all dead are equals
but there are rich-dead and also poor-dead.

My condolences to both....
but my sympathy declines a bit to one side.....

The Genocide at Vinnitsa

http://library.flawlesslogic.com/vinnitsa.htm

Dr. William Pierce

We spoke a few weeks ago about the mass murder of the leadership stratum of the Polish nation by the Soviet secret police in the Katyn Forest in April 1940. We discussed that genocidal atrocity in the light of the ongoing Jewish campaign to portray Jews as the principal victims of the Second World War and to collect reparations from the rest of the world today. A good deal of interest in that broadcast was expressed by listeners, many of whom had not been acquainted previously with the facts of the Katyn atrocity. Today I will explore this general subject further. I will tell you about the fate of the Ukrainian nation at the hands of the Soviet secret police. In 1943 Germany was at war against the Soviet Union. Twenty-five years earlier, at the end of the First World War, when communist revolutionaries were attempting to take over Germany, Adolf Hitler had sworn to devote his life to fighting communism. He was only a corporal at the time, recuperating from his war wounds in a military hospital, but 15 years later, in 1933, he became chancellor of Germany, and in 1941 his army invaded the Soviet Union with the aim of destroying Soviet communism. The German Army pushed far into the Soviet empire and liberated all of Ukraine from the communists. [Image: Adolf Hitler in 1919.]

In May 1943 units of the German Army were stationed in the Ukrainian city of Vinnitsa, a community of 100,000 persons in a primarily agricultural district. Ukrainian officials in Vinnitsa told the Germans that five years earlier the NKVD — the Soviet secret police, very similar to our FBI — had buried the bodies of a number of executed political prisoners in a city park. The Germans investigated, and within a month they had dug up 9439 corpses from a number of mass graves in the park and a nearby orchard.

Unlike the Poles murdered in the Katyn Forest, all of these bodies found at Vinnitsa were those of civilians, most of them Ukrainian farmers or workers. The bodies of the men all had their hands tied behind their backs, like the Polish officers at Katyn. Although the men's bodies were clothed, the bodies of a number of young women were naked. All of the victims had been shot in the back of the neck with a .22 caliber pistol, the trademark of the NKVD executioners.

The Germans called in an international team of forensic pathologists to examine the bodies and the mass graves. The international team, which included pathologists from Belgium, France, Netherlands, and Sweden, as well as from several countries allied with Germany, examined 95 mass graves and conducted a number of autopsies.

Including the autopsies already performed by Ukrainian medical personnel in Vinnitsa, 1670 of the corpses were examined in detail. The identities of 679 of them were established either through documents found in their clothes or through recognition by relatives, who flocked to Vinnitsa from the surrounding countryside when they heard that the graves had been uncovered.

The authorities estimated that in addition to the 9439 bodies exhumed, there were another 3,000 still in unopened mass graves in the same area. The international team concluded that all of the victims had been killed about five years earlier — that is, in 1938. Relatives of the victims who were identified all testified that the victims had been arrested by the NKVD in 1937 and 1938. The relatives had been told that those arrested were "enemies of the people" and would be sent to Siberia for 10 years. None of the relatives had any idea what the reason was for the arrests and testified that those arrested had committed no crimes and were engaged in no political activity. As I said earlier, nearly all of the victims were farmers or workers, although there were a few priests and civil servants among them.
By interviewing a large number of people who had some knowledge of what had happened in Vinnitsa and the surrounding region in 1938, the Germans were able to piece together the following picture. In 1937 and 1938 gangs of the NKVD's jackbooted thugs roamed the villages and towns of Ukraine, arresting people in a pattern that seemed almost random to observers. One victim's wife reported that as the NKVD goons dragged her husband away they said only, "Hey, you dog! You've lived too long." Other observers thought they saw a pattern. A Ukrainian who was renting a part of his house to a Jewish lawyer refused to sell the whole house to the Jew when he offered to buy it at an unreasonably low price. A few weeks later the Ukrainian homeowner was arrested by the NKVD. Another Ukrainian who had threatened to beat up a minor communist functionary who made a crude pass at his sister was arrested shortly thereafter. It seemed that many of the arrests were the settling of personal scores and that anyone who had crossed a Jew was especially likely to be arrested.

All of this was nothing new for Ukrainians. They had borne the brunt of the communization the Soviet Union for nearly two decades. Ukraine was primarily an agricultural nation, a nation of farmers and villagers, and as such was regarded with suspicion by the Jews and the urban rabble who filled the ranks of the Communist Party. The communists championed the urban workers, but they wasted no love on farmers and villagers, who tended to be too independent and self-sufficient for communist tastes.

During the civil war which followed the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, the Ukrainians wanted to opt out. Ukrainian nationalists wanted no part of the Soviet Union. In 1921 and 1922 the Red Army occupied Vinnitsa, and Ukrainians were butchered wholesale by the Reds in order to kill the Ukrainian nationalist spirit. The craving for Ukrainian independence nevertheless kept flaring up, and further massacres followed, notably in 1928.

Ukraine was the stronghold of the kulaks, the independent farmers and small landowners, always regarded with special hatred by the communist bosses. Stalin gave the job of exterminating the kulaks to his right-hand man in the Kremlin, Lazar Moiseivich Kaganovich, known later as the "Butcher of Ukraine." Kaganovich, the most powerful Jew in the Soviet Union, supervised the collectivization of Ukrainian farms, beginning in 1929. To break the spirit of the kulaks, the Ukraine was subjected to an artificial famine. The NKVD and Red Army troops went from farm to farm, confiscating crops and livestock. The farmers were told that the food was needed for the workers in the cities. None was left for the farmers. And in 1933 and 1934 seven million Ukrainians died of starvation, while Kaganovich watched and gloated from the Kremlin. [Image: Lazar Kaganovich.]
Perhaps in 1937 and 1938 the bosses in the Kremlin simply thought that it was time to apply the lash to the Ukrainians again. In any event, the NKVD was given the task this time. The NKVD was even more Jewish than the rest of the Soviet communist apparatus. The commissar of the NKVD until September 1936 had been the Jew Genrikh Yagoda, and he had staffed his instrument of terror and repression with Jews at every level. And those who were not Jews were the worst sort of Russian and Ukrainian rabble, the resentful louts and ne'er-do-wells who saw in communism a way to get even with their betters. In any event, the Ukrainians were fully aware of the preponderance of Jews in the secret police, and they suspected that there was a Jewish angle to the pattern of arrests in 1937 and 1938. And indeed, it did seem as if the Talmudic injunction to "kill the best of the Gentiles" was being followed, for those who were arrested seemed to be the most solid, the steadiest, the most reliable and irreproachable of the Ukrainians.
Thirty thousand were arrested in the Vinnitsa region alone, and most of these eventually were sent to the NKVD prison in the city of Vinnitsa. This prison had a normal capacity of 2,000 prisoners, but during 1937 and 1938 it was packed most of the time with more than 18,000 prisoners. Throughout much of 1938 a few dozen prisoners were taken from the prison each night and driven to a nearby NKVD motor pool area. There their hands were tied behind their backs and they were led, one at a time, a few hundred feet to a concrete slab in front of a garage. The slab was used for washing vehicles, and it had a drain at one side with an iron grating over it. Just as the prisoners reached the edge of the slab they were shot in the back of the neck, so that when they fell onto the concrete their blood would run into the drain. This was what the NKVD men jokingly called "mokrii rabota" — "wet work" — and they had had plenty of experience at "wet work." A truck parked next to the slab kept its engine racing so that the noise of the engine would cover the sound of the shots. While the next prisoner was being led up, a couple of NKVD men would throw the corpse of the previous prisoner into the truck. When the night's quota of victims had been murdered the truck would drive off with its load of corpses to the fenced-in park or to the nearby orchard, where new graves already were waiting. And this "wet work" went on night after night, month after month.

So why is this gruesome story important to us now? After all, this massacre of Ukrainians in Vinnitsa took place 60 years ago. I'll tell you why it's still important to us, aside from the fact that these Ukrainians were our people, our kinfolk, part of our race.

First, you might ask yourself why you have never before heard about Vinnitsa, and I'm sure that's the case for about 99 per cent of our listeners. Of course, Alexander Solzhenitsyn wrote about what happened at Vinnitsa, in the third volume of his Gulag Archipelago, but you're not likely to find that in the rack at the checkout counter. And Ukrainians and Germans have written about it, although for the most part their writings have never been published in English, because publishers in this country understand that it would be Politically Incorrect to publish anything about Vinnitsa. Much better that people just forget about it.

Isn't that odd, though, when we continually hear so much about Auschwitz? Isn't it odd that when Jewish groups are using their political influence to have laws passed in a number of states requiring high school students to take courses about the so-called "Holocaust," what happened at Katyn or at Vinnitsa is never mentioned in high school? The excuse given for requiring students to study the so-called "Holocaust" is that it was the greatest crime in history, and we should know about it so that we won't repeat it. But then why shouldn't we learn about Katyn and Vinnitsa and Dresden and a thousand other atrocities where our people were the victims, and so the lesson should be even more pertinent for us?
You know, I'm not trying to be cute about this. We all know the answers to these questions, but I just want you to think about their significance. To them, Auschwitz is important because Jews died there, and Vinnitsa is not important, because only Gentiles were killed there. The Jewish media bosses keep rubbing our noses in Auschwitz, because they want us to feel guilty; they want us to feel that we owe the Jews something for letting it happen. The Jewish media bosses never mention Vinnitsa because Jews were the guilty ones there. Besides, they make a lot of money by promoting the "Holocaust." It's certainly not going to help their profits to divide the attention and the sympathy of the American public between Auschwitz and Vinnitsa. And it's certainly not going to help their effort to extort billions of dollars in "Holocaust" reparations from the Swiss and from everyone else to admit their own guilt at Katyn and Vinnitsa. Think about it! If Poles controlled the news and entertainment media in America, we'd hear a great deal more about Katyn, I suspect. If Germans controlled our media we'd hear much more about the terror bombing of Dresden. And if Ukrainians controlled our media, every high school student would know about Vinnitsa. But it's the Jews who control our media, and so all we hear about is Auschwitz: never even a whisper about Vinnitsa. That's important. We ought to be concerned about that. We ought to be concerned whenever any part of our history is suppressed, is hidden from us. We ought to find out why. It might help us to make sure that what happened to us at Vinnitsa never happens to us again.

I'm sure that you've all heard the maxim that the best defense is a strong offense. Do you remember the persecution all through the 1980s of John Demjanjuk, the retired Cleveland auto worker whom the Jews accused of being "Ivan the Terrible"?

John Demjanjuk is a Ukrainian who came to America after the Second World War. In 1978 the Jews made a big hullabaloo about Demjanjuk being a guard in a German prison camp during the war, and the U.S. government obediently hauled him to court and stripped him of his citizenship. Then he was handed over to the Jews for crucifixion and deported to Israel. The mass media in America were full of sensational stories for 15 years about Ivan the Terrible and how the Ukrainians had helped the Germans persecute the poor, innocent Jews.

Unfortunately, this strategy worked for the Jews. The Ukrainians kept their heads down instead of raising the issue of Vinnitsa. Of course, even if they had begun trying to tell Americans about Vinnitsa or about what Kaganovich had done to the Ukrainian kulaks, who would have heard them? Ukrainians don't own the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, Time magazine, Newsweek magazine, or U.S. News & World Report. The Jews own all of those media. And the Ukrainians don't own Hollywood, so they can't make movie dramas about Vinnitsa either, like Steven Spielberg does about the so-called "Holocaust."
The crux of this matter is that the Jews have been getting away with presenting a grossly distorted version of history to us, a version in which they are the completely innocent victims, and our people —the Ukrainians and Poles and Germans — are the bad guys who have been persecuting the poor Jews for no reason at all. They've been pumping out this propaganda in concert, consciously and deliberately, without a single major medium under their control deviating from their party line. And because they've been getting away with giving us a falsified version of history, they've been able to change America's foreign and domestic policies in directions to suit themselves, to our enormous disadvantage. Everything which has happened in the Middle East, for example, since the Second World War is based on this false history.
More than that, everything that has happened in Europe since the murder of 12,000 Ukrainians at Vinnitsa in 1938 has been based on the Jews' power to control what we learn about our history, about what is happening and has happened in the world around us. The U.S. government allied itself with the Soviet government in 1941 for the purpose of destroying Germany. The communists were presented to the American public as the good guys, as worthy allies, and the Germans were presented as the bad guys. And the American public bought that lie because they didn't know about Vinnitsa or about a thousand other atrocities committed against our people by the communists. When the Germans brought in the international commission to examine the graves in Vinnitsa in 1943, the Jew-controlled media kept the news from the American people, just the way they kept the news about the Katyn Forest genocide away from the American people. And because of this, there was no real opposition to turning half of Europe over to the communists at the end of the Second World War.

If Katyn and Vinnitsa had been publicized, so that every American voter knew in detail what the NKVD had done at Katyn and at Vinnitsa, the politicians in Washington never would have been able to get away with turning the Poles and the Hungarians and the Rumanians and the Bulgarians and the Croats and the Serbs and the Czechs and the Slovaks and the Baltic peoples and all of the Germans in the eastern part of Germany over to these communist butchers. The politicians in Washington got away with this not just because they were in the pockets of the Jews, but because the American people weren't given the truth. And because we weren't given the truth millions more of our people died at the hands of the NKVD after the war, and all of eastern Europe was plundered by the communists for 50 years, and there was a Korean War and a Vietnam War — which there wouldn't have been if we hadn't kept the communist empire alive because of our own ignorance, because of the lies we'd been told about what happened in Europe. We lost more than 100,000 of our best young men in the Korean and Vietnam wars alone.

So you see, it is important what the public is told. It is important that our people know the truth about our history, even about things which happened 60 years ago. And I intend to do everything I can to give them the truth.

Now I believe that you can understand why the Jews try so hard to keep me off the air, why they bring pressure against every radio station which carries American Dissident Voices. They are desperate to keep the American people in the dark about Vinnitsa and Katyn and their other crimes. And I am determined to tear down the curtain of silence and darkness and give truth and light to our people.

And there is some urgency about this, because the Jews are continuing to push for laws against what they call "hate speech" — which means any speech which contradicts their lies. They have succeeded in getting such laws passed in other countries. If I tried to make this broadcast in Canada or Britain, for example, the police would arrest me and shut down the station before I could finish. Let's not let that happen in America.

Zionism Has Nothing to Do with Jews

Ahmadinejad

26/09/2008

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had dinner on Thursday with around 200 people of various faiths including Mennonites, Jews and Zoroastrians who said they wanted to promote peace by meeting such a prominent foe of the United States.

On Tuesday the Iranian leader railed against "Zionist murderers" in a speech at the UN General Assembly, dwelling on what he described as Zionist control of international finance, echoing the libel that blamed a world Jewish conspiracy for all the world's troubles.

Ahmadinejad rejected accusations he was anti-Semitic, saying his criticism was aimed at the "Zionist regime" for its oppression of the Palestinians rather than at Jews. "As soon as anyone objects to the behavior of the Zionist regime, they're accused of being anti-Semitic, whereas the Jewish people are not Zionists," Ahmadinejad said. "Zionism is a political party that has nothing to do with Jewish people."

The Iranian leader gave a discourse on the need for religion in both private and public life, and the decline of morality in countries where politicians reject religion. He also dwelled on the woes of the Palestinians and efforts by "selfish powers" to dominate the world and frustrate Iran's peaceful nuclear ambitions at the event billed as a discussion on religion's role in eliminating poverty, injustice and war.

Taking Elder Peres Apart
By Gilad Atzmon
Palestine Think Tank

"Truth must be said, I do admire fierce President Ahmadinejad almost as much as mush as I despise war criminal Shimon Peres.

However reading the rant Peres gave Wednesday during the UN’s General Assembly is a rather amusing experience. The man who has more blood on his hands than any living Israeli politician was rather daring.

“The Iranian people are not our enemies,” declares Peres. This is a pretty interesting statement, bearing in mind that Israeli Minister Mofaz threatens to nuke Iran on a daily basis. “Their leader (Ahmadinejad) is a danger to his people, the region and the world.” Again, a very bold statement considering the established statistical fact that the vast majority of Europeans actually see Israel and the USA as the leading threat to world peace.

But Peres wouldn’t stop just there, following the tradition of the Jewish Marxists who always know better than anyone else what is good for the world proletariat, the Palestinians and so on, Peres, the Yiddishe Mullah knows what Islam is all about:

“He (Ahmadinejad) is a disgrace to the ancient Iranian people. He is a disgrace to the values of Islam.”

But it isn’t just Islam’s values Peres specializes in. He also knows better than the assembly of nations what is good and what is bad. Seemingly Peres must be convinced that Judification of the entire world is completed. This allows him to decide what the UN is all about and who should be allowed to speak on its platform. “He (Ahmadinejad) is a disgrace to this very house, the United Nations, its basic principles and values. His appearance here is already a shame.”

Whether Peres was himself successful in addressing the nations is a question that will be left to historians and analysts, however, he himself wasn’t totally convinced by his own shallow arguments. Thus he ended up employing the most tedious overused Hasbara propaganda. The pathetic repetition of the “Elders of Zion” tale is one example. Shimon, let me advise you, you had better keep quiet about this ‘Elder’ topic at least momentarily. You see, in crumbling America, a super power that was toppled by policies set by Wolfowitzes and Greenspans, the Elders of Zion is a devastating reality. You really do not want to go there, you really do not want to be the one who brings it up.

However, Shimon, just to remind you that amongst your own countless disastrous fatal personal failures was the Oslo Accord. It was you who coined the zio-centric idiom ‘New Middle East’ with the Jewish state as its ‘financial capital’. Let me tell you Shimon, this ‘dream’ of yours qualifies you as the epitome of the Zionist Elder.

However, the Elders of Zion is just one Zionist weapon, once it is brushed aside. The last Zionist weapon of mind destruction is there to be launched, the Shoah and its denial:
“Their despicable denial of the holocaust is a mockery of indisputable evidence, a cynical offense to survivors of the horror. Contradictory to the resolutions adopted by this assembly.”

Listen to me carefully president Shimon, we better admit it, the Zionist Holocaust narrative is falling apart and you have only yourself to blame. For the last 60 years, you and your people have been killing Palestinians in the name of Jewish suffering. Consequently, Israelis are regarded by many as the ‘Nazis of our time’. In other words, your present sinister ugliness is far more concerning for all of us than the Nazi crimes that happened 65 years ago. Differently than any other historical event, the Holocaust is a closed book for research, with its crimes that we are not even allowed to scrutinize properly, due to strict laws about what can an cannot be researched or even uttered.

However, in order to maintain the Holocaust Zionist narrative untouched, a strong dollar maintained by ‘friendly’ bankers is needed. Unfortunately, as you may realize, the dollar is not doing very well at the moment and your ‘friendly’ bankers are about to be subject to a federal investigation. If I were you Shimon, I would ask my Hasbara guys to come up with something slightly better than the old Holocaust to distract everyone from reality.
At a certain stage in his speech, Elder Zionist Peres becomes either a stand up comedian or senile, I just cannot make up my mind yet.

“Iran,” he says “continues to develop enriched uranium and long range missiles. They introduce a religion of fear, opposing the call of the Lord in respect of life.”

Shima’le, look in our eyes when you say it, wasn’t it you yourself who launched the Israeli nuclear project? Wasn’t it you who introduced the entire region to the nuclear threat? Shima’le you are no doubt a disgrace to human intelligence. No wonder the Israelis themselves never voted for you in your entire political career.

However, once you start to spread Israeli Hasbara lies, no one can really stop you:
“Iranian support for Hezbullah divided Lebanon. Its support for Hamas split the Palestinians and postpones the establishment of the Palestinian State.”

I was always sure that Israel loves to see the Arabs divided, was I wrong? And if Iran indeed divides Lebanon and the Palestinians you should really support Iran, am I wrong again? You are obviously lying. Being an Elder Zionist you stand in front of the nation and fib. You know that neither the Lebanese nor the Palestinians are divided. You know very well that the Hamas and the Hezbullah is the new spirit of Islam.

May I advise you, Mr Israeli president: We all support the Hezbullah especially when they crushed your ‘mighty’ army. We all support the democratically elected Hamas. As the truth of Zionism unveils itself, we all come to know who are the enemies of peace. May I suggest to you one more thing. You should never be worried about the Palestinian people being split. As split as they may look, they are far from being divided. They all see the victory at the end of the dark Zionist tunnel !!!

Early Jewish Terrorism
I've had this bookmarked for a long time, but I'm blogging it now as an extension of this short list. This is not a complete list, but rather documents just a few examples of early Zionist terror.
Many of the early Jewish terrorists later went on to become politicians and members of the Israeli ruling elite. Ariel Sharon, Shimon Peres and Yitzhak Rabin are just a few.

EARLY ZIONIST TERRORIST GANGS.

Soon after the end of World War II, there were three basic para-military Zionist organizations in Palestine, working against the Arab people, with the specific purpose of driving it out of Palestine. These were the Haganah, the Irgun Zvai Leumi and the Stern Gang.
Before the British Mandate, the Jewish settlers had formed a group of mounted armed watchmen called "Hashomar" and with the advent of the British Mandate, it became the Haganah (Defense). With a membership of 60,000 Zionist Jews, the Haganah had a field army of 16,000 trained men and a unit called the Palmach, which was a full-time force, numbering about 6000.
The Irgun Zvai Leumi included between 3000 and 5000 armed terrorists, and grew out of the Haganah and its Palmach branch in 1933. The Irgun was not ready to obey the Jewish Agency which sought to dilute the terror of the Haganah in order not to lose its respectability.
In 1939, one of Irgun's commanding officers, Abraham Stern, left the parent organization and formed the Stern Gang, numbering some 200 to 300 dangerous fanatics.

SOME EARLY EXAMPLES OF JEWISH-ZIONIST TERROR.

August 20, 1937 - June 29, 1939. During this period, the Zionists carried out a series of attacks against Arab buses, resulting in the death of 24 persons and wounding 25 others.
November 25, 1940. S.S.Patria was blown up by Jewish terrorists in Haifa harbour, killing 268 illegal Jewish immigrants (see below).

November 6, 1944. Zionist terrorists of the Stern Gang assassinated the British Minister Resident in the Middle East, Lord Moyne, in Cairo.

July 22, 1946. Zionist terrorists blew up the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, which housed the central offices of the civilian administration of the government of Palestine, killing or injuring more than 200 persons. The Irgun officially claimed responsibility for the incident, but subsequent evidence indicated that both the Haganah and the Jewish Agency were involved.
October 1, 1946. The British Embassy in Rome was badly damaged by bomb explosions, for which Irgun claimed responsibility.

June 1947. Letters sent to British Cabinet Ministers were found to contain bombs.
September 3, 1947. A postal bomb addressed to the British War Office exploded in the post office sorting room in London, injuring 2 persons. It was attributed to Irgun or Stern Gangs. (The Sunday Times, Sept. 24, 1972, p.8)

December 11, 1947. Six Arabs were killed and 30 wounded when bombs were thrown from Jewish trucks at Arab buses in Haifa; 12 Arabs were killed and others injured in an attack by armed Zionists on an Arab coastal village near Haifa.

December 13,1947. Zionist terrorists, believed to be members of Irgun Zvai Leumi, killed 18 Arabs and wounded nearly 60 in Jerusalem, Jaffa and Lydda areas. In Jerusalem, bombs were thrown in an Arab market-place near the Damascus Gate; in Jaffa, bombs were thrown into an Arab cafe; in the Arab village of Al Abbasya, near Lydda, 12 Arabs were killed in an attack with mortars and automatic weapons.

December 19, 1947. Haganah terrorists attacked an Arab village near Safad, blowing up two houses, in the ruins of which were found the bodies of 10 Arabs, including 5 children. Haganah admitted responsibility for the attack.

December 29, 1947. Two British constables and 11 Arabs were killed and 32 Arabs injured, at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem when Irgun members threw a bomb from a taxi.
December 30,1947. A mixed force of the Zionist Palmach and the "Carmel Brigade" attacked the village of Balad al Sheikh, killing more than 60 Arabs.

1947 -- 1948. Over 700,000 Palestinian Arabs were uprooted from their homes and land, and forced to live in refugee camps on Israel's borders. They have been denied the right to return to their homes. They have been refused compensation for their homes, orchards, farms and other property stolen from them by the Israeli government. After their expulsion, the "Israeli Forces" totally obliterated (usually by bulldozing) 385 Arab villages and towns, out of a total of 475. Commonly, Israeli villages were built on the remaining rubble.

January 1, 1948. Haganah terrorists attacked a village on the slopes of Mount Carmel; 17 Arabs were killed and 33 wounded.

January 4, 1948. Haganah terrorists wearing British Army uniforms penetrated into the center of Jaffa and blew up the Serai (the old Turkish Government House) which was used as a headquarters of the Arab National Committee, killing more than 40 persons and wounding 98 others.

January 5, 1948. The Arab-owned Semiramis Hotel in Jerusalem was blown up, killing 20 persons, among them Viscount de Tapia, the Spanish Consul. Haganah admitted responsibility for this crime.

January 7, 1948. Seventeen Arabs were killed by a bomb at the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem, 3 of them while trying to escape. Further casualties, including the murder of a British officer near Hebron, were reported from different parts of the country.

January 16, 1948. Zionists blew up three Arab buildings. In the first, 8 children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years, died.

December 13, 1947 -- February 10, 1948. Seven incidents of bomb-tossing at innocent Arab civilians in cafes and markets, killing 138 and wounding 271 others, During this period, there were 9 attacks on Arab buses. Zionists mined passenger trains on at least 4 occasions, killing 93 persons and wounding 161 others.

February 15, 1948. Haganah terrorists attacked an Arab village near Safad, blew up several houses, killing 11 Arabs, including 4 children..

March 3, 1948. Heavy damage was done to the Arab-owned Salam building in Haifa (a 7 story block of apartments and shops) by Zionists who drove an army lorry ( truck) up to the building and escaped before the detonation of 400 Ib. of explosives; casualties numbered 11 Arabs and 3 Armenians killed and 23 injured. The Stern Gang claimed responsibility for the incident.

March 22, 1948. A housing block in Iraq Street in Haifa was blown up killing 17 and injuring 100 others. Four members of the Stern Gang drove two truck-loads of explosives into the street and abandoned the vehicles before the explosion.

March 31, 1948. The Cairo-Haifa Express was mined, for the second time in a month, by an electronically-detonated land mine near Benyamina, killing 40 persons and wounding 60 others.

April 9, 1948. A combined force of Irgun Zvai Leumi and the Stern Gang, supported by the Palmach forces, captured the Arab village of Deir Yassin and killed more than 200 unarmed civilians, including countless women and children. Older men and young women were captured and paraded in chains in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem; 20 of the hostages were then shot in the quarry of Gevaat Shaul.

April 16, 1948. Zionists attacked the former British army camp at Tel Litvinsky, killing 90 Arabs there.

April 19, 1948. Fourteen Arabs were killed in a house in Tiberias, which was blown up by Zionist terrorists.

May 3, 1948. A book bomb addressed to a British Army officer, who had been stationed in Palestine exploded, killing his brother, Rex Farran.

May11, 1948. A letter bomb addressed to Sir Evelyn Barker, former Commanding Officer in Palestine, was detected in the nick of time by his wife.

April 25, 1948 -- May 13, 1948. Wholesale looting of Jaffa was carried out following armed attacks by Irgun and Haganah terrorists. They stripped and carried away everything they could, destroying what they could not take with them.

THE SS PATRIA.
November 25, 1940. In September, 1940, around 3,000 Jewish refugees from Vienna, Prague and Danzig were attempting to reach Palestine. In a convoy of four river steamers, they set sail down the Danube and reached the Romanian port of Tulcea where they transferred to three Greek cargo ships named Atlantic, Pacific and Milos. Conditions on board these three ships were horrendous, reminiscent of Japanese hell-ships later in the war. Eventually the ships reached Palestinian waters, but the British Colonial Office refused them permission to land. It was finally decided to deport the refugees to the island of Mauritius where a special camp was to be built. The three ships were then brought into Haifa harbour where the liner Patria was berthed. The refugees were then embarked on the Patria and as the last passengers from the Atlantic were coming on board, a tremendous explosion ripped the liner apart. The death toll amounted to 267 refugees killed. The explosion was the work of the Jewish underground army, the Haganah, who had meant only to damage the ship to prevent it sailing but had miscalculated the amount of explosives needed to disable the ship. Many say that this was no miscalculation and was deliberate murder of Jews by Jews, in an attempt to influence British immigration policy to Palestine.

A LIGHT UNTO THE NATIONS.
The first act of air piracy in the history of civil aviation was carried out by Israel, in Dec. 1954, when a civilian Syrian airliner was forced down in Tel Aviv and its passengers and crew held for days, despite international condemnation.
In 1968, Israeli commandos blew up 13 civilian airliners at Beirut airport in Lebanon.
The first deliberate shooting down a civilian airliner was carried out by Israel, when a Libyan airliner was shot down by Israeli jet fighters over Sinai, in Feb. 1973, on the direct orders of Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir, killing all 107 of its passengers and the entire French crew.

AL-Quds…Allah’s Endowment

26/09/2008

The International Day of Al-Quds is an initiative started by Iranian revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Quds Day is held annually on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan and calls for Jerusalem to be returned to the Palestinians.
Friday night, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah will mark the event with a televised speech in the Sayyed Al-Shuhada complex in Dahyieh (Beirut’s southern suburb). There will not be a weapons-free military parade due to the delicate security situation in the country. Hezbollah’s media activities unit chose “Al-Quds…Allah’s Endowment” as a slogan for this years event.

This low and beyond. I cannot understand what the video says, but I guess it has to do with propaganda spread by the fatah-controlled palestinian TV, blaming Hamas for things taking place in Iraq. Hamas is going to sue them, and rightly so.-

Blaming Hamas for what "Mahdi army" did in Iraq, Is like Blaming Mahdi Army for every thing happenned to the palestinian in Iraq.

You nailed the "palestinian" thug: "I have said they might have been murdered by any militia or criminal gang existing in Iraq, starting with US-ZIO death squads (my first culprit) and following with ANY other armed militia or gang. Of course, next second culprit in my view are baath related thugs. Third would be gangs abducting/killing for ransom or to trafic with organs. I'll put the shias/Mehdi in the end.Remember, their pope Sistani had issued a Fatwa.-Lucia"

Remmember that thug, from the very moment, accused Syria for assasinating Imad Maghneyi and Ignored al other theories.

You spoiled a lot of your time and energy in that "baathist -saddamite pundit".

Qassem: Broadcast of ugly scenes never happened in Gaza is a misleading act

"RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Dr. Abdelsattar Qassem, a Palestinian writer and professor of political science, stated Wednesday that the ugly scenes from Iraq which the PA-affiliated Palestine TV broadcast claiming that they took place in the Gaza Strip are a manipulation of the Palestinian people's feelings and a misleading act.

In an exclusive statement to the PIC, Dr. Qassem warned that the PA is working on tarnishing the image of Hamas and mobilizing the public opinion against it, adding that the PA in Ramallah deliberately and greatly exaggerates events when it comes to Gaza.

The writer underlined that the professional integrity of the PA media outlets is totally absent, pointing out that the PA media had been broadcasting lies and misinformation since their inception.

Regarding the broadcast of such scenes while there is anticipation of national dialog, the writer said that talk about national dialog is a lie used by the PA for local consumption and is not likely to take place, but if it ever happens, it will not be serious.

In a press statement received by the PIC, the Palestinian police in Gaza decided to file a lawsuit against the Palestine TV for broadcasting ugly scenes from Iraq and claiming they happened in the Strip.

The Palestinian police called on the Palestine TV to refrain from belittling the citizen's mindset and from dealing with the Palestinian people as ignorant people."

Hezbollah and the Palestinians

Hezbollah and the Palestinians

By Franklin Lamb – Beirut

"The response to the massacre at Sabra-Shatila was for the resistance to become active in Lebanon. If the Lebanese people had given up on the resistance, they too would have been complicit in the massacres of Qana and Sabra and Shatila." – Hasan Nassallah June 4, 2002

"We renew our pledge to Jerusalem, to the Palestinians, and to the cause and Imam of Jerusalem; their city will forever remain in our souls, and will continue to be our cause, our battle, and our ultimate objective." – Hasan Nassallah October 28, 2005

The fundamental consequences of the 1982 Massacre at Sabra-Shatila and the founding of Hezbollah are two seismic events from the same time and place which some argue are locked in an embrace that will return Palestine to the Palestinians.

In fewer than 45 minutes following the explosion in Islamabad at the 315-room Marriott Hotel during the Ramadan Iftar mealtime, Saturday, Hezbollah security units nearly invisibly secured the area of the 162-room Beirut Marriott Hotel. One of the embassies they secured was that of Palestine, which opened last year.

The security precautions were less out of love for the Bush administration, or love for the Zionist-owned hotel chain, than the fact that the Marriott is within one of Hezbollah’s densely populated base areas. Dahiyeh, which includes several southern Beirut neighborhoods, often erroneously referred to as “suburbs”, is less than a mile from the Palestinian refugee area known as Sabra-Shatila.

Hezbollah works regularly to intercept elements openly boasting of or secretly planning on attacking its neighborhoods. Some being watched and infiltrated are Al Qaida inspired Sunni Salafist cells, who consider Shia Hezbollah more their enemy than they do the US or Israeli governments. Contrary to Robert Fisk’s recent reports, these groups are indeed growing in Lebanon and inside the Palestinian Camps, particularly Ain el Helwe, Bedawi. They are trying to launch in the so far peaceful camps near Tyre. This observer would agree with Fisk that it will not be easy for Al Qaida to find enough supporters and adherents of the Salafi-Jihadi ideology to challenge the strength of Hezbollah’s well-organized partisans. Yet, no fewer than 11 Al Qaida-inspired groups, eager to destabilize Lebanon, and sometimes related to US-Israel projects, have been organizing according to Palestinian Popular Committee Representatives inside the Camps. Some of their goals are being telegraphed by the rising campaign of threats coming from their sometime-sponsors in Tel Aviv and Washington.

The Angry Bear Returns to the Levant
When the rest of the story is able to be told concerning what really was happening during the late April and early May events in West Beirut, the facts will support a very different conclusion than the narrative offered by the Welch Club. Researchers expect to elucidate contents of ten and one half hours of taped conversations between Washington and its Lebanese surrogates. Conversations are referred to during a meeting between Hezbollah’s number two, Sheifk Naim Qassim, and a former US Ambassador with his American delegation during a July 2008 dialogue in Dahiyeh. A full report of the May events will also document details of what is known by many here, that every incoming and outgoing communication at the US Embassy is carefully monitored, analyzed and contemplated. The same with Israeli Sunday Cabinet meetings.
This week the Israeli Army’s Information Security Chief, Colonel Ram Dor, complained in the Israeli newspaper, Yediot Ahronot (Latest News) that Russia is relaying intelligence information to Hezbollah. Dor said Russian Navy spy ships and Russian personnel serving at monitoring stations on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights carry out intercept and hacking missions and relay Israeli secrets to Hezbollah.

“My evaluation is that such facilities can cover most of Israel’s territory,” Dor said.
The US intelligence unit in the American Embassy in Beirut also blames the hacking and sharing of its ‘most secured communications’ on the Russians while others claim its tit-for-tat for what the Mossad and CIA did early last year in Georgia.

US Embassy Internet security experts are unclear to what extent the Russian military is directly responsible for “communication compromises,” but they claim that the traffic patterns and servers used in the operation are definitely coming out of Russia and result from increased Russian activity in the Middle East.

Some in Beirut speculate that this explains why the meticulously planned US/Israeli “May Surprise” turned out to be a ”May Surprise” for its sponsors and their local teammates, who were dropped like a bad habit when the project imploded.

To counter this problem, the US Defense Intelligence Agency’s newly created Defense Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence Center is authorized for the first time to carry out “strategic offensive counterintelligence operations” in Lebanon and against any group anywhere which the Bush administration considers “terrorist,” according to Mike Pick of the DEA, who will direct the program.

Covert offensive operations will be carried out in Lebanon and abroad against people known or suspected to be connected to foreign intelligence or international terrorist activities, according to Toby Sullivan, Director of Counterintelligence for James R. Clapper, Jr., the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence.

According to Walter Pincus, who covers counterintelligence for the Washington Post, these sensitive, clandestine operations are “tightly controlled departmental activities run by a small group of specially selected people” within the Defense Department. The new unit is designed to thwart what groups like Hezbollah might be trying to do to us and to learn more about what they’re trying to get from us,” Sullivan said. In the case of “terrorists,” the object would be to identify people who might be “trying to do harm, collect information about us, and keep them from doing that. So far we don’t know if Hezbollah is trying to do anything to us but we will watch them,” he stated.

“You stop, we stop,” is the Putin offer to the next US administration, according to Congressional staff sources on the US Senate Intelligence Committee. Many in power in Moscow also consider the Bush administration a “terrorist cabal” and are awaiting the November election results, hoping Obama wins.

The Student Laptops and the KKK Kid
Hours before the Marriott was attacked in Pakistan, Fairouz Husseini sat with her girlfriends in the courtyard outside Haifa Middle School across the road from Shatila Refugee Camp, which is administered by UNWRA in Bir Hassan. Fairouz and her friends were giddy two days after receiving laptops at the 26th Anniversary of the Sabra-Shatila Massacre Memorial.
“I love it! I can’t believe it’s mine to keep!”, Fairouz exclaimed as she protectively dusted off the pale green cover of her new XO laptop, and recorded an interview with the screen sized video and built-in camera. The XO laptop is part of an advanced teaching tool developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that some believe can revolutionize education in developing countries.

“That American man told us that if we used it properly it would open the doors to the Great Library of Alexandria for us and we can learn as much as any student at the best schools anywhere in the World!” she added.

Amal, a very loquacious 13 year old friend of Fairouz chimed in, “We are making a laptop club at our school. We call it: Learn for our Return! Is that a good name? What do you think? Our friend Ahmad says it’s a silly idea. Anyway, Ahmad does not behave properly and is sort of wild. He is what we call a KKK kid - Kalashnikov, Kassem and Katyusha. Anyhow, most students in the camps are peaceful and we want to rebuild our country when we go back and we need lots of knowledge to do it!”

Fairouz and her Ramadan-fasting pals were already out of school for the day even though it was not yet noon. Lebanon’s camp Palestinians are severely challenged by a shortened school day due to overcrowding. On average around there are 35, but sometimes there are as many as 50 students per class, and because UNWRA must run two shifts daily. Student and teacher absenteeism is high, standards are low, text books insufficient, infrastructure poor, and dropout rates increasing.

Of the 59 Palestinian camps in the Levant (Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon) only the camp schools in Gaza are as bad, indeed worse, as those in Lebanon.

Gaza Director of the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) John Ging reports that up to 60 percent of Gazan children at UNRWA schools had failed their math exams last year, while 40 percent failed their Arabic exams at the beginning of the year.

UNRWA provides schooling for Palestinian refugee children from grade 1 through 9, but offers limited secondary education and, as in Lebanon, these schools are forced to operate double shifts due to overcrowding. ”Many children come to school hungry and unable to concentrate,” according to Ging.

Haifa Fahmi al-Agha, the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) Education Ministry’s Director General in the Gaza Strip, has documented that failure rates at schools in Gaza were deliberately lowered the past few years to cope with overcrowded classrooms, too few schools and limited educational funds. The same “lowering of the bar” trend is creeping into Palestinian schools in Lebanon.

Shatila Camp, as well as its sister, Burj al Baraneh, is located in Ghouberi Municipality, whose Council is now controlled by Hezbollah, whose party members won all 21 Council seats in both the 1998 and 2004 elections. Hezbollah security protects the whole area around Shatila Camp, and Haifa and other Palestinian Schools with their Shia, Sunni and Christian students. The Sabra-Shatila area is an increasingly close-knit area bringing together the Sunni Palestinians and the Shia Hezbollah.

More than 90% of Lebanon’s Palestinian students interviewed recently, in an admittedly unscientific poll, appear to believe that Hezbollah holds out their best hope to return to Palestine, and insist their parents would vote for Hezbollah in next year’s critical election if Palestinians were allowed to vote in Lebanon.

Before leaving for home, Fairouz introduced this observer to her lovely mother, Nour. Nour is a community organizer who had come to collect her daughter. She elaborated on why the Sunni and partially secular Palestinian community of Bir Hasan (where the first killers assembled 26 years ago before being sent into the Camp) have come to support the Shia Party of God despite a sometimes troubled past relationship.

The Non-ID Issue and Palestinian Gratitude

Besides shared values regarding education, Hezbollah supports the project that is now finally happening to give Palestinians identification cards for the first time.

“This is so important to our people in Lebanon. Actually Hezbollah worked quietly with Prime Minister Siniora’s people to achieve this much needed progress,” the community organizer explained. “They do a lot for us but they don’t announce it to the public so much.”

Many Palestinians credit pressure and dialogue from Hezbollah with the announcement last month that the government of Lebanon will finally issue temporary identification cards to perhaps as many as 5000 Palestinian families (around 20,000 individuals) who have no documents and who habitually hide from the authorities or risk imprisonment.

PM Fouad Siniora, in bed with the Bush Administration, wins kudos for his work on this issue. Siniora appears to reject the Bush/Cheney and Israeli intense antipathy toward Resistance supporting Palestinians.

The Lebanese authorities have thus agreed after 40 years to give temporary ID cards to “non-ID” Palestinian refugees. Palestinians without any ID documents are subject to more capricious treatment by authorities than those holding UNWRA ID or Ration Cards or NR (”Non Registered”) cards.

Most non-ID Palestinians are either former “Fedayeen” or descendants of the Palestinian fighters who came to Lebanon in the 1970s after being driven from Jordan during the “Black September” conflict with the Jordanian monarchy.

To qualify for the new IDs these individuals need to get a residence notice from a Mukhtar and submit it to the Lebanese General Security. The Non-ID card will help settle the legal status of thousands of Palestinians living in Lebanon and is about the only good news for the Palestinians here since their PLO protectors left Beirut in 1982, when the camp’s steep descent into misery accelerated. Lebanon’s new PLO “Embassy,” which was allowed to open in May of 2006, has already received 2,600 names of applicants.

Like all Palestinians, the new ID-holders will still not be allowed to work in professional vocations or to own property, but at least their marriages will be legally registered and, theoretically, they can no longer be rounded up by the authorities at whim.

Sidon Mukhtar Mohammad Baasiri explained that dozens of Palestinians were flocking into his office on a daily basis seeking IDs. “I have hundreds of applications from Palestinians who want to get a residence notice as a starting point toward getting an ID,” Mukhtar Bassiri noted.
Over the past two years, more than 350 non-ID refugees had been arrested in Sidon alone and more than 200 students were denied the right to access its schools and universities. To its everlasting credit, UNRWA often allows non-ID children to “sneak” into its schools - but they cannot pass their examinations at age 18 and gain qualifications because that requires legal papers. As reported by Daily Star’s Fayez Najjar, an unregistered Palestinian father of 14 children from Ein el Helwe Camp explained that his sons had been arrested for lack of ID several times as they stepped outside the autonomous security system of Palestinian-controlled camps. Hezbollah is credited with helping advance this project.

Fatima Khalife’s Quadruplets and Hasan Nasrallah
This is another example of Hezbollah “good neighborliness” mentioned by Hajjah Nour, which this observer had actually learned about earlier while conducting research in Mar Elias Camp in Beirut.

Many foreigners may not be familiar with the 6000-resident Mar Elias Palestinian Refugee Camp located just to the Northwest of Sabra and Shatila. It is small, one of the original camps set up in 1948. It is heavily made up by Christians from Nazarath and surrounded by Gulf-funded high rise construction projects. Salivating investors eye its boundaries and prime location near the sandy beach of Ramlet al Baida and Hamra.

Last month, this observer, en route to an appointment inside the Camp, was negotiating the sharp turns of alleys so narrow and dark that they have likely never been warmed by direct sunlight, barely enough space to advance along on a motorcycle.

Suddenly I noticed a gaggle of squealing pre-teens lining up for motorcycle rides and practicing their English with “hello!”, ‘how are you?”, “welcome!” The kids apparently recognized me and the trusty steed “Silver” from an earlier visit. But this time it was necessary to apologize and explain in very weak Arabic what “next time” meant because I was rushing to an appointment with a camp social worker, who told me yet another “Hezbollah story” which affords insight into the Party’s relationship with Palestinians in Lebanon:

On August 9, 2005, a Palestinian mother named Fatima Khalife gave birth to Quadruplets in Shatila Camp. One of the four babies, Omar, was very ill and not expected to live. He needed life-saving surgery and his family inquired at the nearby Safah Hospital. Being Palestinian, Lebanese law forbids any assistance from the National Social Security Fund, meager as it is. UNRWA contributed around $2000 and some local NGOs another $1,500. Still about $37,000 shy, the family was very happy when an article about the boy’s plight was published in the local daily, As Safir. Two wealthy humanitarian Lebanese women came forward and offered to help the infant by paying for his surgery.

The Palestinian community was ecstatic and prayed for success with the delicate operation. Shortly before the scheduled surgery, a call was received at the hospital business office that caused its cancellation. When it was learned that Omar is a Palestinian, the well-to-do Lebanese ladies, perhaps with memories of the civil war and lost loved ones, withdrew their offer of medical assistance.

Word of what happened circulated in the crestfallen community. A local TV station, New TV, ran a story about the Khalife family’s desperate plight as Omar’s brain infection took a virulent turn. Within minutes of the program being aired, the office of Hezbollah’s Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah called Omar’s father. Hezbollah said it would like to pay for the boy’s surgery and all subsequent expenses until the boy was well. And it did. Nasrallah had watched the program and was deeply moved. Today, Omar is healthy, sweet, rambunctious, beautiful, three years old who just learned how to press the ignition button and start a foreigner’s motorcycle.

Hezbollah cannot solve all the Palestinian’s problems in Lebanon pending their return to Palestine, but with no one to rely on but themselves, Palestinians appreciate enormously such gestures as saving Omar.

At the risk of over-simplification, one concludes that these kinds of “Robin Hood” stories have created a broad admiration for the Hezbollah-led Resistance in Lebanon’s Palestinian community - as do Hezbollah’s straight-dealing with the Shatila and Burj al Burajneh Camps in the Ghoberi Municipality, where it helps with infrastructural, sewer and water projects (probably against “the law” and wishes of many in Lebanon).

This is not to say that there are no lingering personal grudges within Lebanon’s Shia/Palestinian community from individuals who suffered at the hands of the other over the past four decades during the civil war and Zionist occupation. Yet, one Palestinian friend, Samer, a Mar Elias Camp social worker, reported that both communities want to let bygones be bygones. He points out that marriages between Shia and Sunni and Christian Palestinians are increasing (his wife is Shia). He also pointed out and that he personally has more Hezbollah friends than Palestinian, as he introduced me to his best friend, Ali, a Shia and Hezbollah party member.

Iraqi "Sahwa" VS The Harkis in Algeria
Thanks to Fatima for pointing out the analogy between the Harkis in Algeria and the so-called Awakening Councils in Iraq.
Learning From Past Struggles: The Harkis in Algeria
# posted by Tony : 6:16 AM

The analogy between the Harkis and the Sahwa is a totally ridiculous comparison and derives from a complete lack of understanding of the specific conditions of the Iraqi occupation versus the Algerian occupation.

Let's backtrack as most of the people here have a conveniently short memory.

At the beginning of the occupation there was a Resistance (R)movement and it is still there.
The R was infiltrated by Al Qaeda(AQ), and some Iranian backed elements called such as the Mahdi and the Badr brigades. It is called in political jargon - the seeds of counterinsurgency.

Throughout the past two years, the R has been fighting AQ within its ranks because AQ has been sabotaging the work of the R with these counter insurgency tactics. The AQ has been armed by both the Americans and the Iranians. that is a FACT that no amount of your wishy washy analysis will eradicate...

The R found itself fighting and resisting against the following elements.

1) American Occupation forces
2) Iranian intelligence forces
3) Shiite militias (mahdi, badr, ministry of interior, dawa, chalabi militias)
4) peshemergas of Barazani and Talabani - typical example Fallujah.
5) mercernaries, snipers and death contractors working outside the realm of the US forces including Blackwater. the above groupings are called the dirty gang.
6) the mossad intelligence
7) Al Qaeda.

The reader should also bear in mind that the sunni population in Iraq has no protection whatsoever from a govt backs militia. That is another fact.

The reader should also remember that these people have not had jobs, incomes, revenues for over 5 years...

Now to compare all the above to the Harkis is total stupidity in my opinion.

I do not believe that the Sahwa council has been coopted on a long term basis by the Americans. I believe that weighing the several forces that the Resistance has to fight, it made that choice.

After all, the Mahdi thugs and the Nasrallah thugs do play the political and military game ...ie they involve themselves in the political process whilst at the same time are armed and ready to fight (the sunnis of course)...that did not seem to cause much "political ethical" problems to you guys....

Layla Anwar 03.22.08 - 8:46 am #

From "Us Guys" to Layla Anwar,

I do not know who you are referring to when you say, "that did not seem to cause much "political ethical" problems to you guys...."

I think that, in spite of my capacity as Mullah Tony, I have been critical of ALL Iraqis engaged in ethnic and sectarian division and slaughter. I have ridiculed and skewered the thug Muqtada Sadr on numerous occasions. I have exposed the terrorizing and slaughter of Palestinians and Iraqis by the Mahdi death squads. I have criticized Hizbullah for not taking a clear position on the Iraqi resistance. I have written and said this and more.

The key point here is that the Americans have managed (quite successfully in my opinion) in tearing Iraqi society apart and in drastically reducing the Iraqi resistance. The casualty figures tell the story. In essence, by marshaling all the forces that you listed against the resistance, the occupation has forced some in the resistance to depend on the occupation and to stop the resistance.

Just as in the Iraq-Iran war, the US will use all sides to keep slaughtering each other. That will stop only when some wise leaders from all communities rise above all the created divisions and stare the disaster in the face. Living in the past and praising Saddam or comparing Shiites with Jews and Iran with Israel is not helpful. The Iraqis are in this together. You can't lump all Shiites together and say that they are Iranian agents. The role of an enlightened resistance is to be representative of all Iraqis and to fight only the occupation and its agents.

The lesson of the Harkis is that a large number of Algerians were willing to be collaborators and fight with the French against their people. Today this applies to Iraq with Kurds, Shiites and Sunnis (Sahwa) doing the same with the American occupation.

Tony Sayegh Homepage 03.22.08 - 9:32 am #

Mullah Tony,Again your extrapolations from the Algerian experience to Iraq is historically and politically misconducive.I stand by what I said.Iran since Khomeini has played a VERY detrimental role in coopting shii'sim into a CULT like political ideology, deeply sectarian and deeply divisive.Nasrallah, Mahdi, Hakeem and the rest of the barking dogs, are a prime example of that.Hizballah has not only failed to condemn the ethnic cleansing of palestinians in Iraq, it has trained the militias who did the ethnic cleansing. Your deliberate refusal to face these facts because of some attachement to a romantic "resistance" ideal is doing you disservice and this is not the first time I have said that. The shiites in Iraq can be grosso modo divided into the following categories.- the seculars who for the most part left the country.-those who are anti -US but still want a shiite theocracy Iranian style-those who are anti-Iran but still want a theocracy Iraqi -shiite style-those who are anti -US and anti -Iran and represent only a minute tiny part of the actual Resistance.Re-read what I said about Khomeniism and the coopting of the shias into a cultist sectarian mentality and the above categorization will make sense to you and the reader.
Layla Anwar 03.22.08 - 10:58 am #

Layla Anwar,But the situation should not remain static and frozen in time. Why is it that the Shiites who are willing to fight the occupation are a, "minute tiny part" as you put it? Isn't it the role of the resistance to expand its reach and become more comprehensive? Where is Iraqi nationalism? Why does Iraqi nationalism not compete with the Iranian influence? I suspect that part of the reason is that the resistance has clung to the past and the memory of Saddam; those days are gone. You can't have an all inclusive, anti-occupation and nationalist resistance by living in the past and repeating Baath rhetoric. The majority of Shiites will not respond to that. You need to respond to their basic needs and their self-interest. Only then will you be able to undermine Iran's influence.Resurrect Iraqi nationalism or lose Iraq as a country
.
Tony Sayegh Homepage 03.22.08 - 11:20 am #

Mullah,I don't believe that the Resistance has excluded shiites, and in the case of Iraq, only a secular resistance encompassing all sects and ethnicities can be effective.Unless of course you are requesting some crash course in head slicing and self flagellation so the Resistance can fall into your American political correct line....
Layla Anwar 03.22.08 - 12:07 pm #

Layla,

Here is the problem; you said, "only a secular resistance encompassing all sects and ethnicities can be effective."

So, ahead of time you are stipulating your conditions. This is the key problem explaining why the resistance has not expanded.

What if a large portion of the Shiites wants to fight the occupation out of both a nationalistic and a religious motive? Similar to the case of Hizbullah in Lebanon. You are telling them not to bother and to turn to Iran instead. Is this smart, when the Shiites constitute about half of the population?

What is wrong with an umbrella-type national liberation front? United for the purpose of driving out the occupation, this front can include Baathists and other secular forces as well as religious Shiite groups as long as they agree to a common program of only fighting the occupation and its instruments.

This is similar to what is happening in Palestine. While I prefer secularism, I can't ignore the support that Islamic forces (particularly Hamas) enjoy. They are the ones leading the fight now. So, what do I do? I wait until the secular and leftist forces get their act together, if ever? Of course not! At this stage those leading the struggle get the support and the tent should be large enough to include all forces. This, in my opinion, is the way out for Iraq. Form a wide-ranging national liberation front and stop living in the past.

Tony Sayegh Homepage 03.22.08 - 12:56 pm #

We lived in Baghdad in the mid 70s. It was the prime years of Iraq, it was nice, beautiful ,prosperous. Our neighbors on one side were Shia on the other were Sunni. There was no sectarian tensions that we felt, however our shia neighbors would call our Sunni neighbor's son "3allawe" although his name was Omar. When my mom asked why do you call him that and not Omar , they told her "we don't like to pronounce the word 'omar' !!"
The shia neighbors were secular , baathist and proud Iraqi nationalist.

I think to blame the current sectarianism and strife between the sunni and shia on Khomeinism and Iran is an over simplification of the general "monitory" problem that we have in the Arab world. Minorities in the arab world feel disenfranchised and discriminated against !! From Rums in Syria to the Druze of Lebanon to the Copts in Egypt to the Berber in Algeria .....etc We have never been able to truly integrate the minorities and celebrate our ethnic and cultural and religious diversity as a people. when we ended up having was secular totalitarian regimes trying to integrate by force and colonial forces telling those minorities that they are different and WILL never be accepted as equals in the arab world.

I think we are dealing with the minority problem like the white man deals with Racism ,we pretend that it does not exist.

Zarathustra 03.22.08 - 1:40 pm #

Zarathustra,

I agree with your comment: our ethnic, cultural and religious diversity should be a source of strength and something to be celebrated. Given the great mosaic we have, this is the only way forward.

Tony Sayegh Homepage 03.22.08 - 2:04 pm #

Mullah and Zarathustra,

Iraq WAS a mosaic, even during the 80's and 90's and despite the Iran war and despite the sanctions.
Tony , you are doing some hair splitting. secular does not mean exclusive, or no religious figures, secular means nationalists, and it does mean an umbrella, you are just nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking.

and by the way the majority of Iraqis today "yetrahamoon a3la Saddam Hussein"

Layla Anwar 03.22.08 - 2:08 pm #

Moreover,

Zarathustra, you just proved my point that Shias carried all the seeds for sectarianism, one would have to go back 1500 years to find out the real causes, and one would have thought with 1500 years they would have gotten over a Hussein grievance...
BUT

Iran's khomeinism capitalized on that historic grievance, and turned it into a political banner and a political ideology....NO ONE CAN DENY THAT. And the shias obliged...

I refuse ALL ARGUMENTS as proned by Tony and Co, that Iraq was a sectarian state, this is an AMERICAN/ IRANIAN propaganda fallacy on which was built ONE of the excuses to invade Iraq.

Sadly the so called "liberals" from Yankeville and that includes a very big part of Arab Americans, they seem to regurgiate that senselessly...

A terrible shame and a NAKBAH. But then that is expected from Arab Americans.
Layla Anwar 03.22.08 - 2:14 pm #

Layla,You are so quick to generalize and so quick to attack! I never said that, "Iraq was a sectarian state."I have always made it clear that current sectarianism is a direct result of the occupation with help from Iran.My main concern is how to combat this sectarianism and how to unify as many of the Iraqi forces as possible to fight the occupation. It is very clear that the US is simultaneously supporting, not just two of the forces, but all three: It has created Al-Qa'ida and continues to support it; it has created and continues to support the Shiite death squads and now it supports the Sahwa Sunni forces! Unbelievable! It is nothing but a perpetual death machine. When are all Iraqis going to wise up to this?
Tony Sayegh Homepage 03.22.08 - 2:37 pm #

How is it possible that I find myself in agreement with BOTH Layla Anwar and Tony (Sorry Tony, but "Mullah Tony is funny) ? Tony, I find myself in agreement with much of what you said with one small exeption which is where I think you fall into a trap. You say we should not "praise" al-Rais al-shaheed Saddam Hussein, and look to the future and try to find a common Iraqi nationalism and unified resistance. I agree.BUT, By praising al-rais al-shaheed we are actually calling for what you are calling for, a secular, progressive, anti-sectarian, Iraqi nationalism. We can't repudiate this past, and we should not do so. Saddam Hussein was opposed by the Shia religious gangsters, like Al-Dawa, and the Hakim clique precisely because he was non-sectarian, and secular. The forces that opposed Saddam opposed not becuase he was a "dictator", but because he was an Iraqi and Arab nationalist. They rejected him because he was a secular progressive. The biggest lie concerning Iraq was that Saddam Hussein was a dictator who was opposed by the democratic forces of the Shia and Kurds. That's bullshit! They rejected Saddam Hussein because HE STOOD OPPOSED TO ALL THAT WE SEE TODAY IN IRAQ. He was opposed to Khomeinism, Shia sectarianism, Iran, and the rule of Mullahs. So we can't reject this past, and we have to hold on to it, and make sure it is our future. The Baath party is not done in Iraq, and I believe it is the only force that can unite all Iraqis. I agree with your call for an "umbrella" group or united front, and I'm sure the Baath would agree to join forces with all Iraqi patriotic forces, but joining forces with the puppets of Iran and the sectarian gangsters is not possible. They are not even interested in it. Why should the Baath extend its hand to those who's hands are extended to Persia and hate anything Arab. Forget Arab, they are not even Iraqis. Not even Muslims which is why we can't even have an Islamic united resistance. They are SHIA SECT first, and nothing second. Also, one last point which I think is related to much of this. Saddam Hussein was not as dictatorial as the image that has been created by the Shia gangsters allied with Iran and CNN. Layla Anwar is right about that. He was not a sectarian. That is a lie. Also, his "oppression" of Iraqis is greatly exagerated. I lived in Iraq for a while and know many Iraqis. They all tell me, and I saw with my own eyes that Iraqis were living freely with dignity and security. Saddam was ruthless with the ORGANIZED POLITICAL OPPOSITION. That's true. But for the vast majority of Iraqis who just wanted to live their lives, work, go to school, get an education, get health care, enjoy life, raise their families, Saddam Hussein's Iraq was wonderful. As for the organized political opposition which he did go after with an Iron fist: They are the ones we see today in the green zone. Many of us knew what Hakim, Sadr, Sistani, Barazani, Talabani, and tharabadvocate and the Iranian intelligence was up to back in the 80s. Now the entire Arab world knows. I only wish Saddam Hussein was even harsher with them. So we cannot repudiate the past. On the contrary, I salute Saddam Hussein, The Baath, and the modern, progressive, secular, independent, succesful society they created. It's an example for all Arabs. And when the regime fell, the Khomeiniests who called Saddam Hussein "america's stooge" rode into Baghdad on the back of an American tank with the blessing of the Persian Mullahs in Tehran while Saddam and the Baath transformed themselves into the Iraqi national resistance and lead the fight against the "great satan". At the same time they remain in the green zone, and Ahmadinajad came to visit them and slept under a blanket of security provided by the great satan's US Marine corp. We should not repudiate the past. We must return to it.

The difficulty is to try and teach the multitude that something can be true and untrue at the same time.--Schopenhaueralso Layla a statement like this"Zarathustra, you just proved my point that Shias carried all the seeds for sectarianism, " is sectarian in itself. I don't want to use sectarianism in discourse to discredit sectarianism. By falling into that trap (no matter how accurate or true your statement is) no one wins.I think sectarianism existed in all arab countries and the Colonizers just cultivated and made it grow. To say that a society is not sectarian in the arab world , is like the white man saying there is no racism in America. When I grew up in Algeria I had a non sounding Arab name , which all the kids made fun off and accused me of being a Christian although my dad is named after the prophet. I would come home and cry thinking that by them calling me a Christian was a huge insult , only to have my parents tell me to ignore those ignorant kids.

Zarathustra 03.22.08 - 6:01 pm #

Zarathustra,

The answer to these problems is Arab Nationalism. Also, the issues of sectarianism should not be blown out of proportion. The Arab Islamic empire during the Umayyad and Abbasid periods was the first multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, pluralistic society in the world.

Modernly, sectarianism has thrived only when small, fringe groups, opposed to Arab Nationalism allied themselves with foreign occupiers. The Maronites of Mt.Lebanon who conpsired with French colonialism to amputate Syria and create a Christian, dominated "state" allied with French Colonialism, or currently the Shia sectarian criminals, allied with Iran who want to break Iraqi apart and attach the South to a new Persian empire.

This is when the problems arise. In Iraq sectarianism was NEVER an issue, and everyone lived equally including Christians, Shia, or anyone else. The Kurdish issue is one of national identity and its a totally different discussion. Saddam Hussein and the Baath were the only ones to address this fairly.

In Syria, sectarianism is not an issue at all. Muslims, Christians, Druze all live together as one Syrian Arab people. In Palestine, Muslims and Christians are all part of one Palestinian Arab people. In Jordan, Christians and Muslims are part of one Arab people.

In Egypt, its true that our Coptic brothers feel discriminated against, but that can be resolved in the context of a national Egyptian struggle for democracy rule of law and human rights for everyone.

Let's not exagerate the differences.

"The analogy between the Harkis and the Sahwa is a totally comparison and derives from a complete lack of understanding of the specific conditions of the Iraqi occupation versus the Algerian occupation."

"Magida" Layla,

At the outset, only a Whore "plolitically" may dare call Hizballah heros , Nasrallah "thugs" or compare them with Iraqi mahdi army.

Fatima is aware of the differences, between Shawah an Harahis. She ment by Harakis people who collaborate with the occupier, despite of their history. Your "R", after SHAWA (WAKEING-UP)discovered that they were on the wrong trench, and decided to move the opposite trench, the (S) trench. PUT U before the (S)
We say in Arabi: If you beware your enemy once, you should beware yoy friend thousand times.

So "Magida", you and your "Shawa" are much worse and more dangerous than algerian Harakis.

Palestinian (Fath), and lebanese "Shawas" such as Jumblat, new left, Future Sunna are more dangerous than those whose who from the beginning decided to collaborate with the Occupier, such as Rawabit Alqura, Lahd and gagaa.

So, "magida" the rediculous is not Fatima's analogy Harkis and the Sahwa, it justifying treason.

Reading you treason's justication, I remembered Tawfeek Alhakim, who wrote "Awdat Al-rouh", for NASIR, and his "Shahwa", "Awdat al-waay" he wrote for Sadat. I remembered Siniora and refusing to do Ban Arab blood test, because once upon a time, he Joined a Ban arab demonstration.

Reminding us that "Shahwa" fought against the 7 elements you mentioned, is an excuse worse that guilt.

Out of the 7 ememies you mentioned, your Harkis selected to colaborate with the real enemy, and they dared to call treason "Sahwa".

The Name "Shawah", if you know Arabic means, resisting the occupation was wrong, the "real" enemy is Iran, shiites, Quaeda, not USRAEL.

Palestinian "Harkis-Sahwa" did the same, in 1982, they shouted "YA WAHDANA" and turned their back to syria, headed to Tunis, on the long way to Oslo and ended fighting their own people.

"The reader should also remember that these people have not had jobs, incomes, revenues for over 5 years..."

Another ridiculous justification for treason. it is more or less the excuse Lebanese sunni "Sahwa" used to justfy treason Badna Neésh (we want to live)

"Mullah" Tony hit the nail on saying:

"You can't have an all inclusive, anti-occupation and nationalist resistance by living in the past and repeating Baath rhetoric. The majority of Shiites will not respond to that. You need to respond to their basic needs and their self-interest."

If you don't, agree with "Mulla" Tony, prepare your self to Join Vietnam Harakis, who moved to US, or those still waiting, since decades, in concentration camps for a USA visa

MARK MY WORDS:
IT IS THE EMERGING SHIITS SAHWA, FOLLOWING HIZBULLAH MODEL WHO SHALL LIBERATE IRAQ

I will take you seriously if you have the balls to go into a sadr or hakim stronghold in Iraq somewhere, tell them you are Palestinian, and return to us in one piece. You are very ignorant and sound like somene who has never been to Iraq and has no idea what he's talking about.

Go try to do what I told you. Come back and tell us about it if you survive. But don't cry out for the Baathists, Arabs Nationalists to save you.

Treason Advocate,"Magida", "Sahiya"

I repeat "only a political whore may dare call Hizballah heros , Nasrallah "thugs" or compare them with Iraqi mahdi army."

What Arab Equation you are refering to??
Hamas already left that TREASON EQUATION.

The only Arab equation I could see is a whore house called Moderate's equation, the equation of treason, the Usarel equation.

"Thanks", to "Arab Nationalism" who "defended" the eastern Gate for 8 years, and openned all the Arabs Gates for Usrael, and Iran (to make you happy)

And, thanks to Iran arms (Palestinian,Lebanese and Syrian) defending the heart of the Arabic world.

So be a whore - so be it and be proud of it.

In putting your words on my mouth you proved that your are a real whore, So join the whore club.

This is exactly what a loser, or a stupid would say.

"All I can tell is that he did not understand what Layla Anwar said,.."

I don't care about what you/she said or may says, as long as you Advocate treason.

However, to understand my chain of thought, you need read history, then you may, I say you may understand the chain linking, the Sahwa of Egypt Hakim, the Sahwa of Jumblat, the Sahwa of Oslo, Siniora blood test, and the new Iraqi "sahwa"
In between you add the "Sahwa" of of Sadat, Quadafi.

For me, Such kind of Sahwas is Ghaflah,

Looking around the real Sahwas I could see in the arab world are:
1- the sahwa of lebenese christian led by General Oun, The "Christian Arm of Syria and Iran"
2- The sahwa of Lebanese Sunnis Lead by Yakan
3- and hopefully the Sahwah of Fath triggered by the Palestian blood shed in Ghaza

The Whore was mad at "Mullah" Tony, when he wrote: Don't JUST blame the American.
Now, the same Whore is mad at Fatima, for blaming the Sunni "Custodians of the Haramein"
Why Blame his majesty, Hakim did it. Besides, his majesty is honoring Cheney defending the Eastern Gate of Great Usrael.

Meanwhile, "Sahwa" screwed by their new employer, is considering striking to get their Salaries, the real (R) started the day "with a barrage of mortar fire against the Baghdad Green Zone, the seat of the Iraqi government and the US occupation embassy. Two waves of mortar rounds struck the area, causing no casualties but sending panicked US embassy staff scurrying into bunkers, officials and witnesses said.

An employee in the Green Zone, Mohammed al-Dulaimi, who witnessed the second attack, said eight mortar rounds fell near the US occupation embassy complex and two a little distance away in a residential area. "They caused slight damage and one sparked a fire," Dulaimi said.

An embassy employee, who would not be named, said staff dashed for the embassy's bunker after both attacks. "The first attack woke us up and people went rushing to the bunker. It was very frightening. The blasts were very close. Some people were in the showers and arrived with towels around them," she said. "This was the worst attack since last summer, when some buildings in the embassy compound were hit by mortars."
