Beirut– Secretary-General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah called Wednesday for generalizing what came in the speech of President Bashar al-Assad at the economic summit of the Organization of Islamic Conference in Turkey on adopting resistance as the only choice after the fall of the settlement on the Arab and international levels.

He expressed appreciation of the speech and Syria's stances towards the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine.

On the occasion of the Martyr Day, Nasrallah quoted President al-Assad as saying, "our support to resistance is a duty we fulfill, and we are proud when we support resistance because we fulfill our duty".

He also said that Lebanese resistance is proud of Syria's and Iran's friendship and the friendship of any other country, government, movement or party that stands by the rights of our peoples and resistance.

As for forming the Lebanese national unity government, Nasrallah said, "our obsession was to form the government because we are with the interest of the country", calling the government to be a government of cooperation and harmony.

Nasrallah clarified that the success of the government in its current formation serves the interest of Lebanon and the resistance, pointing out that opposition will not save efforts to make the government succeed.
