GAZA, (PIC)-- MP Jamal Al-Khudari, the head of the popular committee against the siege, has said that the Palestinian people would continue to defy siege and to work for regaining rights with all means possible.

Khudari, speaking in a telephone address to a students' rally in Rabat, Morocco, on Friday, said that the Palestinians would remain steadfast despite challenges.

The MP described the rally as an important step in supporting the Palestinian steadfastness, and championed more such active roles in support of the Palestinians.

Gaza has been suffering from siege and closure of crossings for the past four years, which led to the death of 500 patients and worsened the conditions of others, he said, adding that Gaza's industrial and commercial sectors were totally paralyzed.

He said that the situation in the West Bank was no better, pointing to the separation, racist wall that robbed Palestinians of their lands and homes in addition to the roadblocks spread all over the West Bank and the repeated attempts to storm the Aqsa Mosque and judaize Jerusalem.

The lawmaker underlined, however, that the Palestinian people regardless of all circumstances would never give up their land.
