Hindi calls for strategic vision with Hamas

GAZA, (PIC)-- Senior Islamic Jihad Movement official Dr. Mohammed Al Hindi called for talks between Hamas and Jihad to develop a strategy and vision to cope with major threats.
The Jihad Politburo member said the Gaza Strip is expected to see increased Israeli attacks, and the more prepared the movement is the more it will earn. He added that some Palestinian leaders are likely to be assassinated in the attacks.

Hindi said in an interview broadcasted Tuesday on the Quds TV channel that Israel wants Gaza’s full surrender, but it was not able to take control of the region in its last wars, so another round of conflict is underway.

The leader said the resistance movement in Gaza has not been banned as is the case in the West Bank, where security forces prohibit any acts of resistance.

“A resistance [fighter] in the West Bank has two options: the grave or the prison,” he noted.

Commenting on peace talk developments and the settlement freeze, Hindi said all choices made by Fatah chief Mahmoud Abbas are in connection with U.S. choices, and his threats to resign are a personal escape. He should discuss a national consensus program with resistance factions, added Al Hindi.
