US and Its Allies Back Armed Gangs in Syria

Lizzie Phelan did some excellent reporting on the conflict in Libya, and in this commentary for Press TV she once again hits the nail on the head. The Syrian government has the right to stop terrorist attacks on its citizens, and to do so "by any means necessary." Meaning the government should use violence, at whatever level may be needed, to stop deadly attacks by NATO terrorists. Meaning also that Syria's right to do just that should be fully recognized and supported by the "international community." Or in other words, Russia and China should cease issuing "wishy-washy" calls for "restraint" and "dialog." If you haven't read my post Terrorist Attacks in Syria...And Laughter and Chuckles in Washington please do so. Restraint and dialog may be nice in certain cases, but they are not going to halt the onslaught against Syria by the NATO countries, whose intent is clearly criminal and who won't stop once they have conquered Syria, but will go on from there to the next target...and the one after that...and so on.

Phelen doesn't come right out and say it, so I'll say it here. The stance of Russia and China so far sadly has been one of appeasement. Hopefully that will begin to change when Vladimir Putin re-assumes the presidency on May 7.
