The Madness of King Saud

Sat Apr 04, 2015 6:44
The Madness of King Saud

TEHRAN (FNA)-
The Saudis are forever gritting their teeth against that granite block, complete and changeless, of the criminal past. Their madness is badness of their spirit, as they seek death, destruction and profit from all sources everywhere.

Madness is rare in individuals, but in groups, like the Saudis, it is the rule. They cannot become kings if they cannot back massacres in occupied Palestine. They cannot become kings if they cannot create a death cult to destroy entire civilizations in the Middle East. They cannot become kings if they cannot serve their Western masters and/or launch proxy wars against their neighbors.

This madness has now taken its toll and this is so true in Yemen. So far the Saudis and their criminal cohorts have managed to kill over 500 civilians and wound thousands more in just two weeks. That’s according to a new report from the United Nations Humanitarian Affairs Office.

This criminality has already displaced tens of thousands of civilians in the poorest country in the Middle East, a huge problem when there is conflict. The war criminals have even been blocking Red Cross aid shipments. The United Nations Security Council should hold its head in shame for doing nothing about this. Yemen needs more than anti-Saudi rhetoric.

The Saudis are doing all this with a helping hand – directly - from the United States and its regional vassals, particularly Israel. They might try to downplay their appalling roles in this illegal war, but the truth is that without their complicity the Saudis would have never been able to bomb and destroy so many refugee camps, so many civilian targets, so many innocent lives.

Little wonder their bloody airstrikes are unpopular. The Saudis have a carte blanche from the West to do whatever they want because they are vassals and because the US orchestrates the attacks and has no intention to curb its military aid.

They might deny this is a proxy war. It’s far from the truth. By any account, this is a proxy war, pure and simple. They are the American proxy in this new war of aggression.

Little wonder the airstrikes are doing little to prevent the national resistance group of Ansarullah from gaining territory. They have the full backing of their people. This war is no longer a cakewalk for the Saudis. They don’t even have a concrete exit strategy.

This insanity, this criminality, regardless of what they intend to do, makes no sense at all. It only means one thing: humiliation and defeat. That’s what happens when you decide to mess with a sovereign nation. It’s a cautionary tale. Soon they will understand what happened to the US war machine in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The airstrikes are fueling a major backlash among the general public against the war, including among officials who had initially endorsed it. People are fighting back and they won’t rest until this Saudi madness stops.

They will successfully de-fang the warmongers. The Saudis now sound like sore losers whose diminishing threats are impotent attempts at flexing muscle. In this regard, the people of Yemen will soon steer the Saudi-led and American-backed war machine off the road.

Fisk: Iran Reborn As Major Middle East Nation after Lausanne

Local Editor

Lausanne talksAfter the nuclear deal with world powers, western writers started to predict how the American - Iranian relations will be in future, considering the agreement a rebirth of Tehran as major power in the Middle East.

"Iran was reborn as a major Middle East nation. The framework could one day return the 36-year-old Islamic Republic to the status of a regional superpower " Robert Fist wrote in the British The Independent newspaper on Saturday.

The UK author described Iran as "America’s new best friend", the fact which turned the Saudi Arabia so angry and may seriously damage its privileged alliance with the United States.

"A kingdom that violates human rights in its treatment of women and fails to adapt to any form of free speech was never a 'natural' ally of Washington," Fisk believed.

"If Iran and the West keep their word, however, and the distrust which even Secretary of State John Kerry admits still exists, turns into mutual confidence, then this week’s compromise agreement ... could have an enormous political effect on the region. Iran could, over time, become America’s “policeman in the Gulf” as it was under the Shah’s reign," he added further.

Fisk stated that if Iran-US ties changes into better conditions, the United States will begin to re-examine its relationship with the Wahhabi Saudis who gave the world Osama bin Laden and 15 of the 19 hijackers of 9/11.

As for Syria, Fisk wrote, the Lausanne agreement looks like the best news President Bashar al-Assad has had in Syria.

"Indeed, more and more Arabs will be inclined to believe that his life expectancy could be as long as that of his father, Hafez," he elaborated.

Regarding the Zionist concerns of the nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic, the British writer concluded his article by asking "How soon will Iran suggest that a Palestinian state should be an important part of its new relationship with America?"

Saudi Arabia the Kingdom of Darkness

03-04-2015 | 13:26

It was no coincidence that a Kingdom adopting Wahhabi and Takfiri thoughts was founded in Najad and Hijaz; as its foundation had a big role in slamming all efforts toward an Arab unity against the British and French colonialism in the twenties and thirties of the past century.

Saudi Arabia's Kings

While Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan aspires to rebuild the Ottoman Empire, what was most striking was the establishment of a Turkish-Saudi alliance in the war on Yemen, especially since the Saudi Kingdom was a pioneer in the fight against the Ottoman Empire in the Arabian Peninsula and the disassembling of its succession.

As an overseer on the Kingdom's emergence, one cannot help but note the abundance of "coincidences" which accorded with its advent and which ultimately led to the disintegration and fragmentation of the Arab and Islamic world.

In 1915, the Darin Treaty between Al Saud and Britain was signed. The treaty approved the establishment of Al Saud monarchy in Hijaz and Najad which was to be inherited by Al Saud family.
Two years later, the ominous "Balfour Declaration", which led to the emergence of the Zionist entity in Palestine, saw light. However, "Balfour Declaration" was not different in content, style and goals from the Darin Treaty; both paved the groundwork for a repressive religious sect to establish a nation at the expense of the indigenous people.

Also, the mode of construction of both "states" was closely similar where the formation of mobs and the raids on convoys were the most prominent features.

Hence, it was not surprising that the Kingdom played a significant role in the weakening of the Arab power as well as Sharif Hussein's attempts to face Jewish mobs that eventually succeeded in establishing the occupying entity.

In a similar notion, the Saudi Kingdom fulfilled its mission against Gamal Abdel Nasser and announced a relentless war against him as it did with Sharif Hussein in the early formation of the "Israeli" entity.

Al-Saud and the Fragmentation of the Region

Historically, the Kingdom had always played the role of an instigator of the unitary systems and all Arab unity slogans. Moreover, its funds had long been poured in this context and in corrupting systems.

Though, observers of Saudi Arabia's funds would rarely find that they were spent on construction, growth and development, but had always found way to the hands of tribal and clan leaders to be disposed on favoritism and their narrow circle of followers.
Thus, it could be said that no country touched by Al- Saud's wealth remained unspoiled. The Quran verse 34 of Surat An-Naml is the clearest evidence:
"Indeed kings - when they enter a city, they ruin it and render the honored of its people humbled. And thus do they do."
Money in Service of Marring
Since its inception, the kingdom had worked on weakening the nation. It had sought to dwindle the establishment of a strong modern Iraqi state.

Only when Iraq was governed by a dictatorial regime like Saddam Hussein did the Saudi Kingdom support it thru lavishly spending billions of dollars during its war against Iran.
Similarly, it prevented the establishment of a modern Yemeni state through bribery and the allocation of monthly salaries for some tribal leaders who gained wealth on the expense of impoverishing and depriving the Yemeni people.

Furthermore, the Saudi fund included Egypt as well, where it spent billions of dollars in the construction of religious schools to spread the Wahhabi ideology.

Consequently, Saudi corruption spared no region in the world except for the Zionist entity that stayed free from Saudi Arabia's ambitions.

The denominational and sectarian chaos that we are witnessing today in the Arab and Muslim world is but a repercussion of this Kingdom, its funds and destructive Takfiri ideas.
It is not surprising to see that corruption and wars only affected Arab countries that were aspirant for science, knowledge and culture as well as regimes that possessed even a minimum level of democracy and pluralism, while repressive and obscurant regimes remained untouched by the Wahhabi movement and the futility of Al Saud.

The Saudi regime is a Kingdom that fears the brightness of education, openness and diversity; it supports the act of tyranny and contempt for people in addition to partisanship, sectarianism and Takfirism. It's simply the kingdom of darkness.

US ‘helped Israel build hydrogen bomb’: declassified report

A declassified report by the US Defense Department reveals that Washington helped Israel develop a hydrogen bomb, in violation of international law.

The 1987 report said Israel’s nuclear sites had the technology base required to design and produce nuclear weapons. It said top Israeli nuclear facilities were equivalent to laboratories that played a key role in the development of US nuclear arsenal. Washington has been criticized for covering up the report for over two and a half decades. US federal laws prohibit foreign aid to those who import nuclear enrichment equipment or technology outside international safeguards. Israel has long defied calls to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and is believed to have hundreds of nuclear warheads.

Massive Defeat For US Neocon Nazis and Israel's Crazed Netanyahu

European Union’s foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini (L), and Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, take part in a joint press conference in the Swiss city of Lausanne on Thursday.

The neocon scum and crazed Israeli government have worked for years, together with the idiot Republican Party, to create a false reality about Iran and nonexistent nuclear-weapons program in the hope of starting a war with Iran.

Now these war hopes are defeated by the nuclear-energy agreement worked out with Iran by Obama and Putin.

What will the crazed Netanyahu, the neocon scum, and the crazed John McCain do now? Will they create a false-flag event? Will they somehow start a war anyhow?

The world will not be safe until the warmongers are removed from the American and Israeli governments.

See here and here for details of the Iran nuclear agreement.

Israeli army admits aiding al-Qaeda in Syria

An under-noticed news report last week confirmed previously-held suspicions and strong implications that Israeli troops are aiding the Nusra Front, al-Qaeda's official Syrian affiliate.

Speaking to Israeli occupation troops last week, a Wall Street Journal reporter on the ground in Mount Bental (part of the occupied Golan Heights) found that Israeli troops receive wounded al-Qaeda fighters, treat them in Israeli hospitals and send them back to continue fighting against the government in Syria.

The Nusra Front in August overran the Qunaitra crossing, the checkpoint between the Israeli-occupied and Syrian-controlled sectors of the Golan Heights. Israeli invaded that region of south-west Syria in 1967 and has illegally occupied most of the Golan Heights ever since.

As I pointed out in a previous column, the reports of UN peacekeeping forces since Nusra took over the checkpoint were highly suggestive of Israeli contacts and even military aid to the al-Qaeda rebels. But this Wall Street Journal report has confirmed the fact.

"We don't ask who they are, we don't do any screening," the unnamed Israeli military official told the paper of the hospital treatment of al-Qaeda fighters. "Once the treatment is done, we take them back to the border [sic - ceasefire line] and they go on their way [in Syria]," he said.
An unnamed military official also said there is an "understanding" between Israeli forces and al-Qaeda fighters there and that "there is a familiarity of the [al-Qaeda] forces on the ground".
Popular conspiracy theories have it that al-Qaeda and the "Islamic State" (also known as ISIS or ISIL) are Israeli- and/or US-intelligence creations. While there's no evidence for that, it's certainly true that the US-UK invasion of Iraq in 2003, and its consciously sectarian occupation regime of the country thereafter, created the conditions in which al-Qaeda in Iraq (later known as ISIS) was formed and thrived. Veteran journalist Patrick Cockburn demonstrates this most convincingly in his essential new book The Rise of Islamic State, which I have previously lauded here.

And now it seems that Israel is in a direct alliance with al-Qaeda in Syria. This is a tactical alliance, meant purely to bleed the country and prolong the civil war.

Read the quotes from Israeli officials in recent months about the Nusra Front and you will see a strange sort of soft-peddling of the group, casting them as a kind of "moderate al-Qaeda" if you will.

"Nusra is a unique version of al-Qaeda," retired Brigadier General Michael Herzog told the Wall Street Journal. "They manage to cooperate with non-Islamist and non-jihadi organizations in one coalition." Herzog is a fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP, the think tank of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the première Israel lobby group in the US) and former chief of staff for Israel's defence minister. The Nusra Front "are totally focused on the war in Syria and aren't focused on us," he claimed. "But when Hezbollah and Iran and others are pushing south, they are very much focused on us."

Hizballah and Iran, allies of the Bashar al-Assad regime, are aiding the government in Syria and fighting on the ground alongside Syrian army troops against al-Qaeda, the "Islamic State" and other Sunni rebel groups.
Even before Nusra took over the Qunairtra checkpoint in August, reports suggested Israel seemed on rather friendly terms with the al-Qaeda affiliate.

In June, army spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner told Foreign Policy that the Israeli government has provided medical assistance to more than 1,000 Syrians over the past fourteen months. "We give medical aid to people who are in dire need," he said in a telephone interview with the magazine, echoing the statement made last week to the Wall Street Journal. "We don't do any vetting or check where they are from or which group they are fighting for, or whether they are civilians."

Ehud Yaari, an Israeli fellow at WINEP, admitted that Israeli assistance has benefited fighters: "The wounded are both fighters and civilians but there are not too many civilians left because of the fighting raging there ... Close to 900 Syrians have been treated in Israel."
Foreign Policy reports that, even earlier than June 2014, in March 2013: "Some 400 armed opposition fighters, backed by artillery fire from three tanks, seized a Syrian military outpost atop a hill at Tal al-Garbi, planting four black flags and raising concern that extremist groups are moving into the zone.
"More than two weeks later, opposition fighters captured two other strategically important hilltop military outposts in Tal al-Jabiya and Tal al-Sharqi.

"'In the afternoon of 24 April, two members of the armed opposition displayed the severed head of a presumed Syrian armed forces officer as they passed' a UN outpost, according to the [UN] report. By the end of April [2013], UN observers 'detected the flying of black flags believed to be associated with militant groups scattered throughout the central and southern part of the area of separation, including three Syrian armed forces positions captured by the armed members of the opposition.'"

So Israeli aid to al-Qaeda in Syria may have been ongoing for as long as nearly two years now. But what is sure is that Israeli aid to al-Qaeda in Syria has now been confirmed.

Prominent American-Israeli rabbi compares Obama to Haman from the book of Esther

TheUgly Truth

esther

Shlomo Riskin of the Gush Etzion settlement bloc says US president is like villain of Purim story, Netanyahu akin to Mordechai

ed note–as it is with virtually ALL things originating out of the Jewish mindset, the biblical story of Esther is more than likely a complete fabrication, other than possibly a few mentally ill Persian Jews going out and robbing an elderly, defenseless Persian Gentile, killing him and then inflating the story so as to ‘inspire’ Jewish minds for future generations.

Nevertheless, the latest antics of Riskin in comparing Obama to the biblical villain Haman–who, according to the Esther tale was murdered as a result of Jewish skullduggery and intrigue–must be understood as a deliberate statement coming out of the mouth of Netanyahu & co concerning the kinds of plans (conspiracies) being hatched against Obama’s personal safety if he doesn’t ‘get right’ with the god of Israel.

Times of Israel

Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, a prominent American-Israeli Orthodox rabbi, has compared US President Barack Obama to Haman, the villain of the Purim story.

Rabbi Shlomo Riskin (Wikimedia Commons)

Riskin, the longtime chief rabbi of Efrat, a West Bank settlement in the Gush Etzion bloc, made the comparison during a speech at the Jerusalem Great Synagogue on Saturday night, The Jerusalem Post reported.

“The president of the United States is lashing out at Israel just like Haman lashed out at the Jews,” he said. “I’m not making a political statement. I’m making a Jewish statement.”

Riskin also compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Mordechai, who along with niece Esther is the hero of the Purim story.

“I am being disrespectful because the president of the United States was disrespectful to my prime minister, to my country, to my future and to the future of the world,” Riskin said.

Riskin led the Lincoln Square Synagogue, a modern Orthodox congregation on the Upper West Side of New York, for 20 years before making aliyah in 1983.

Ties between Washington and Jerusalem have sunk to new lows in recent weeks over disagreements between Netanyahu and Obama regarding negotiations with Iran and peace efforts with the Palestinians.

House Speaker John Boehner controversially invited Netanyahu to address Congress earlier this month, where the prime minister urged lawmakers to thwart a nuclear deal between Iran and several world powers, which is backed firmly by Obama. The visit, which was not coordinated with administration officials, was said to greatly anger the White House, as Netanyahu was perceived by critics to be publicly undermining the president.

Netanyahu was also castigated by the Obama administration for saying, on the eve of Israel’s March 17 elections, that he would not allow a Palestinian state on his watch, drawing an American threat to reevaluate its approach to the peace process.

The White House rejected Netanyahu’s post-election clarification, in which he said he was not opposed to establishing a Palestinian state in principle, just not under current circumstances. He said he still supported a sustainable, peaceful two-state solution, but that the region was increasingly dangerous and that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas was refusing to come to terms with Israel as a Jewish state.

The PM also apologized for Election Day remarks about Arab Israelis voting “in droves” — for which he was criticized at home and abroad, notably by Obama — saying he never meant to harm the feelings of the minority community.

Iran, Global Powers Agree ’Key Parameters’ of Nuclear Deal

Local Editor

N-TalksIran and world powers said they had reached agreement on Thursday on "key parameters" of a potentially historic nuclear deal.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the drafting of an agreement would begin immediately, after marathon talks in the Swiss city of Lausanne.

The text of a binding agreement "is to finish by June 30th" Rouhani added in a tweet sent minutes before a joint statement between Iran and the P5+1 group of leading nations was to be made in Lausanne.

After eight days of talks, US Secretary of State John Kerry tweeted it was a "big day" and that the global powers and Iran "now have parameters to resolve major issues on nuclear program. Back to work soon on a final deal".

His comments were echoed by European powers.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini hailed "good news" at the talks and said that Iran's capacity to enrich uranium would be "reduced".

The German foreign ministry said an "understanding had just been reached on key points" of an accord.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is negotiating in Lausanne, also said on Twitter: "Found solutions".

The Iranian media said the deal would see Iran slash the number of its centrifuges to 6,000 from 19,000, including 1,000 at the key underground nuclear site of Fordo.

The aim before this round of talks began was to agree the main contours of a deal to be finalized by June 30 that reduces in scale Iran's nuclear program in return for relief from painful sanctions.

The powers hope that this will make it virtually impossible for Iran to make nuclear weapons under the guise of its civilian program and end a crisis raging for 12 years.

Global powers want Iran to scale down its nuclear program to extend the "breakout" time needed to assemble enough nuclear material to make a bomb, which Iran has always denied seeking.

But Iranian negotiators have been under pressure from domestic hardliners not to give too much away -- while also delivering on Rouhani's promise to win the lifting of sanctions.

From Gaza To Southampton – We Are All Palestinians

By Gilad Atzmon
For the second time in just a month, a British academic institution has been intimidated by an orchestrated Zionist lobby.

Yesterday we learned that Southampton University has decided to withdraw its permission to hold the academic conference on International Law and the State of Israel. The decision was taken on the grounds of “health and safety” with the university claiming it did not have enough resources to mitigate the “risks.”

This comes just one month after the Royal Northern College Of Musiccancelled a concert of mine for similar safety reasons. Like Southampton University, the RNCM was bullied by a violent pro-Israel group and it took us only a few hours to learn that the spokesperson for the pro-Israeli body was an infamous crook as well as a football hooligan (see here).
This raises the immediate question: Is it possible that like the Palestinians, British academia is now also subject to Zionist terror?

The vile campaign against the Southampton Conference was led by the Board Of Deputies of British Jews, a body that claims to represent Jews in Britain. So far, not one single British Jewish body has stood up for the conference and for elementary academic freedom nor has a single Jewish institution criticised the Board of Deputies’ campaign against British academic institutes.  I guess that the meaning of it is as simple as it is devastating: We now see a clear conflict between the Jewish community and those precious British values of tolerance and academic freedom.

Recently, Jewish community leaders have been concerned by the rise of anti-Semitism in Britain. In this connection, I would use this opportunity to remind them that Jewish institutional bullying of British academic institutes does not reflect well on British Jewry. In fact it has a most disastrous effect

So, as we witness this devastating continuum between Gaza and Britain we once again come to realise that the plight of the Palestinians is not an isolated event in contemporary world affairs or history.

Brits are also now subject to Zionist  terror and the meaning of it is simple: Now, more than ever we are all Palestinians.

Media outlets reported that Saudi Arabia has deployed “100 fighter jets, 150,000 soldiers and other navy units” for the military campaign against Yemen. It also sent 5000 takfiri terrorists to fight against the Yemeni army.
Saudi Arabia is known for training and funding takfiri groups and sending them to the conflict-hit zones in the Arab and Muslim world, including Syria, Afghanistan and now in Yemen.
