Who Owns SMART News Agency That Broadcasted Khan Sheikhoun Images?

Turkey has once again started producing one of its episodes in its long series on the Syrian war. This time it used the chemical weapon, which almost led to a US military attack on Syria in 2013 following a purported attack in Damascus’ Ghouta neighborhood. The attack occurred during the beginning of the second term of Barack Obama’s presidency. Now, with the start of Donald Trump’s era, the attempt has returned using chemical weapons against a Syrian city to prompt the US to launch a direct military attack against the Syrian state.

Who Owns SMART News Agency That Broadcasted Khan Sheikhoun Images?

This time, the plan partially succeeded. But the Russian military presence formed a barrier preventing Washington from opening a large front against Syria. This as well as the fact that US military decision makers were convinced of Washington’s inability to fight a major war in the world after its financial and moral loss in Iraq. Also US military leaders are more cautious in going to war than the US intelligence agency (CIA), which works according to plots where it can to maintain its role and presence. Therefore, this apparatus was and still is the closest to the current Turkish rulers, coordinating their support for Takfiri factions in Syria, which have been fighting in all fields since 2011.
In Khan Sheikhoun, the images that were broadcast to most television channels around the world depicting the victims of the chemical bombardment were broadcast from the site of the attack through the SMART News Agency, which is owned by the Syrian opposition figure Shamsi Sarkis. The company is based in Gaziantep in Turkey.
Sarkis, who lived in France all his life until the outbreak of the Syrian war, is the son of another Syrian opposition figure Sarkis Sarkis, whose name was associated with the oil-for-food program organized by the US intelligence and the regime of Saddam Hussein in cooperation with Kofi Annan in the nineties.
Through this theft and fraud operation, Sarkis Sarkis gathered a huge fortune estimated in the tens of millions of dollars at the expense of the Iraqi people’s blood and poverty. He went from being chased, poor and destitute in French cities, to owning hotels across France and apartments in the most prestigious Parisian neighborhoods, thanks to the oil-for-food program.
Sarkis, a member of the Iraqi Baath Party that included Syrian opposition groups, did not stop from attacking the regime in Syria even though senior officials of the Iraqi Baath Party turned to Syria during the US occupation. During the period of Chirac’s rule and the issuance of Resolution 1559, Sarkis Sarkis worked on inciting a military attack on Syria. He also had close ties to the former Syrian opposition figure Akram Al-Hourani and he bankrolled the printing of Hourani’s memoirs.

Akram Al-Hourani is the father of opposition figure Fida Hourani, who hosted the US and French ambassadors Robert Ford and Eric Shuvalih in the city of Hama on Friday, July 9, 2011.
Fida Hourani was the president of the Damascus Declaration for Democratic Change, which was established in 2005 and whose members were Syrian dissidents who took the lead in requesting American military intervention in Syria, including Riad Seif, Haytham al-Maleh, Michel Kilo and Anas al-Abdah. The Syrian Muslim Brotherhood also had a major role in the declaration.
These are the same faces you see since George W. Bush announced America’s decision to reshape the Middle East according to its interests. The same people, but with different banners and new names; fictitious companies fabricated for a while, which disappear so that this same person creates a second, third, and countless companies.
Do you remember the American project to support the media against the axis of resistance in the Arab world? The oil-for-food program in Iraq was one of its means of securing funds.Al-Ahed News
